Yeah I've seen both...don't judge :p
It would be nice to marathon through GITS in release order (minus arise because arise sucks) including some of the instalments I haven't seen yet (only innocence and solid state I think).

If you just want a barebones release the French one is cheaper and includes English dub & subs, the only drawback being that the cover is in French (if you even care about that).

Yeah it doesn't say so on Amazon or blu-ray.com but I just checked and it definitely does. Heck, the BD even has the BBFC rating on it.
Just so you know, French Beez releases generally include English (Gundam 00/Seed/Seed Destiny, GitS SAC, .Hack, Gurren Lagann, Eureka 7).
 
Does anyone have a copy of House of Five Leaves by Beez? And if so, could you take some photos of the packaging for me? I can't seem to find any photos of it online...

Could someone who has ordered from Amazon JP before tell me if this looks right? On the Amazon JP site itself my address is correct but on the DHL Shipping Tracker the delivery address doesn't have my County or Town, it just says Teesside, which isn't where I live.

Could it simply be that this is their nearest service point and it will then be handled from there? I've never ordered from Amazon JP.

I get some fancy tracking display when I use the track package feature on amazon.jp. How are you accessing the tracking feature, just the button above the order?

(Also I wouldn't worry as long as your address is correct in amazon, even if it does end up at the wrong place, Amazon will just send out another).
 
I know next to nothing about Gundam (Barring Seed) but doesn't Origin imply that it's the start? According to MAL there is no prequel series to Origin so I'd assume it takes place out side of the UC. I could be completely off about that, I'm totally just making assumptions.
 
None. I believe The Origin is a retelling of Mobile Suit Gundam, so therefore is at the beginning both chronologically and franchise wise.

I watched part 1 at the weekend, it certainly doesn't require any previous knowledge of the Gundam franchise, other than maybe the set-up about Munro being a space colony of Earth.

I believe it's a retelling of events in the UC, so is kinda UC but not really cannonical.
