The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a thread)

Obviously streaming wont be as good quality as a blu ray release but it's good to know it's there. It's the sort of series that not watching in HD does the show a bit of a disservice. How much is it for each series on itunes?

£19.99 (£1.99 per episode) for Season 1, £14.99 (£1.99 per episode) for Season 2.

Loooooong shot but, is there any news aaaaaanywhere about anymore Berserk films??

Also, Book of Circus, any dub release in sight?
What about that "Alice in the ..." series where they have loads of different Mangas. Is that going to be an anime?

Sorry for my random. Feeling well ill :(

Have seen nothing about any further Berserk films - can't imagine it's likely at this point. I'd almost be tempted to say a reboot of the TV series is probably more likely.

Haven't seen anything about Book of Circus either - though imagine it'll get done at some point - although I don't know if Brina Palencia (Ciel) does much anime dubbing anymore, I'm sure I read something about her moving away and trying to do more live action stuff?

No news on any Berserk films, though I would prefer an OVA series considering there's a lot of content to cover and the films did ruin it in certain ways (the third film I felt was near perfect, the only problem was they excluded the scene in which Ricket was rescued by the Skull Knight).

Black Butler: Book of Circus & Book of Murder have already been acquired by Funimation (if what Jerome said is true then we may not expect Manga to bring them over) and considering how popular the series is an English dub will probably happen. I would predict an early 2016 release.

Not sure about the Alice series, there's just too many of them!!

No need to be random, I've caught a cold from Center Parcs (which no one can escape from).

Glad in a way that you feel poop too. I just thought I pulled random long shot questions out my bum was all hehe. But i needed to know dammit! lol :p

Yeah I agree with Berserk that scene would of been useful to see as the series was vague on that too but we never saw them again in that anyway based on how and where it ended and with the films I was like "huh" when I saw them so yeah would of been good for me to know! hehe.

I just need more Berserk and badly. I'd love to invest in the Manga so I can continue the story passed the film myself but I don't think I'd ever find the time for it right now making the funds meh. Sucks as someone on the MCM page has 1-16 for sale! :(

Can't decide if i'd like the Alice. Was very interested in it a year or two ago. Just had a random gap I wanted to know about haha.

This pleases me greatly about Black Butler. If Manga doesn't get it, does that mean US only releasing like TWGOK & Freezing??

Ta for answers dear. And ta if you give me more :p :)

Anyone able to confirm if this Japanese edition of Soul Eater does indeed have the Eng sub+dub?

Play-Asia seems to think so and I think I'd prefer it to the Funi LE

Damn that is nice, although I can't see box 2 on Amazon.jp, they do have a complete box though.

CDJapan says it comes with English sub and dub, but blu-ray.com says it doesn't but interestingly blu-ray.com suggests that the complete box DOES have dub and sub....kinda wanna take a punt on that tbh.

Running that Amazon Page through Google translate seems to indicate English assets... But it also looks like you've found boxset one, which has four discs. Blu-ray.com also confirms English audio and subs, but links to an 8-disc complete box

This Amazon link

EDIT: ninja'd

Hmmm I was thinking about part 1 as I already have both regular funi editions and if the idea was to slot a part 2 into the part one box then I'd happily insert my funi part 2 as it has dub+sub (and is region free if I remember correctly.

Looking at part 2 though it does look like a separate box so would't be able to do that. Part 1 can be had for about £35 quid including shipping (marketplace used) which is more attractive than quadruple that for the full set... (although would get hit by customs via DHL)...

Yeah... The A1 logo on the side is even the same as a lot of Funi sets (I believe all funi LE sets with this logo are also region free. The regular funi weapon / meister collections have A1 on them and were supposed to be region free but part 1 wasn't....). I'll post some pics and confirm languages and regions when mine show up in the pics thread. They were both fulfilled by Amazon JP so hopefully only a few days.

This might be a really stupid question, but is there any way to get My Anime List to display English titles instead of the Japanese ones? I find it really confusing when I'm browsing and a show will be right there, but because it's under the Japanese name, I don't recognise it.

Does anyone know if the Madman releases of End of Evangelion and Evangelion Death and Rebirth are better than the Manga release or are they about the same?
Fairly sure they are one and the same. I wouldn't risk taking a punt on it until someone can properly confirm though.
