The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a thread)

No, the manga is a retelling of the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, and the anime is adapted from that. Having looked it up, official UC dates are given. So as I said before, I think it's UC, but not really canonical.

Thankfully they haven't recreated the godawful art style of the manga.

Origin starts right at the beginning of Char's life and how the Zabi's took power in Zeon and then it goes into what is covered in Mobile Suit Gundam, the part that covers the One Year war is a retelling.

The Origin anime is an adaptation of the Origin manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, if you're into manga then I suggest you read it as it's fantastic and the artwork is gorgeous. Plus vertical have put a lot of love into the handbook release of the manga.

It's the first manga series I've come across where I haven't liked the art style. I don't know why, the robots look good, but something about the people just makes me feel uncomfortable.

To Funi enthusiasts: what's up with that?
I just got Level E and the only other Funi release I own is Spice and Wolf (which doesn't have this) so I don't know if it's common... Is this normal?
I mean I don't really care where the discs are made, just why is it printed on the amaray? It's stupid and looks cheap

They started doing it a year or so ago. I have no idea why but it seems to be widespread and very few people seem bothered. I personally don't care if the disc was made in Mexico or on the moon but I don't understand why each individual case has to be stamped >_>

As Buzz said it's not just Funi, it's the majority of USA blu-rays that have it. I'm pretty sure most of the USA films blu-rays that i've bought in the last year or two have had that printed on the back of the case. It doesn't bother me tbh.

Question regarding the K anime. I watched the first season and am interested in watching season 2 now that I know Viewster are streaming it, however I am also aware that there is a movie. Does anyone know if I have to watch the movie before I could watch season 2 of the anime? :)

According to MAL it goes Season 1-->Missing Kings--->Return of Kings. MAL can be handy for that kind of stuff if you want to know that kind of thing in the future.

Cool, thank you. ^^ I'd done a quick google and search around Wiki and got the impression it was that, but mostly wanted to check and I keep forgetting how handy MAL can be. xD

Bit of a shame I'd need to be watching the movie first, but guess I can figure it out. :)

I'm almost done with Nichijou and I have a bit of a backlog of DVDs and Blu Rays I haven't watched yet building up. Anyone want to advise me which of these I should watch first?
