General Games Discussion

Same with the 360 too, MS are fine with region free games but none of the smaller publishers really take them up on it. Hell most of the Agarest games have a 360 version in Japan and the US but it's persona non grata in Europe.

Considering all three consoles have offered download stores for some time this shouldn't be happening at all.

I guess it still has a small chance to catch on with fans of the anime or the original game, but it has come too late to catch on with fighting game fans in this country going by the opinions of people I know.

wasn't persona 4 arena supposed to come out last year or something?

Yup, the whole thing reminds me of the wait for Blazblue and Way of the Samurai 3 to appear on these shores.

Ducktales game? (never played the original)

thought it felt 1987 in here. Also how about a remake to a Darkwing Duck game? Now that would be dangerous!

You should get a PS3, then you'd have finished that game a few years ago, and the two sequels since.

I'm not stumping up £300 plus another £120 just to play three games when I have a perfectly good laptop and Steam installed on said laptop.

Your perception of the costs is WAY off. £120 for three games? Only if you refuse to shop around. £300 for the console? Several years ago if you didn't shop around, maybe, but not now.

Still, PS3 has the greatest range of JRPGs and SRPGs, so if you want that genre you can't go wrong getting a PS3.

I've got all three games on PS3 and haven't finished the first one yet... The game is so time consuming!

Some people (Americans) are suing over Colonial Marines being a bit rubbish and nothing like the pre release footage - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013- ... nd-gearbox - Free country and all that but I feel their problems wouldn't have become problems if they, I don't know, waited for the reviews before buying? Just speculating of course. I feel like these are the same people who slapped down money for Rise of the Robots back in the day.

This is something that bugs me about modern gamers, they've not cottoned on to the concept that a game that has no reviews prior to release is usually a bad egg and then they go ape when they pay full price and find it's a bit rubbish. It's not a difficult concept to grasp, it's even less difficult than not paying full price for a game. I also firmly believe the law firm involved are staffed by weasel, vulture hybrid creatures.
