Shuffle! 17 - This was a big what the hell?! episode for me. Bit of fan service along the way, but it wasn't needed but it's kind of in the animes blood i suppose. What the crap was with Sia's split personality, ok i understand how it came to be etc but just really was it needed? i could handle Nerine with hers but again with Sia? wheres the creativity. I also thought Sia would be the one he picked, they seem to get along much better than anyone else apart from Asa. Looks like the next episode covers quite a bit more material too, although i wonder if the title is a bit misleading or will it actually contain the big story peice. Sia's one liner at the end was funny though.

Black Lagoon 3 - Not as good as the other two episodes, animation and soundtrack are still fine but there wasn't anything great. A bit more detail into Dutch and Levi's past which is always nice and a good fight. I want to see this Aloha shirt mainly because he keeps refusing to wear it. Above average script but not as good as the others. Cast is similar to Bebops, which is a good thing. But i wan't to see a bit more of Benny, although as pretty much everone agree's Levi is a can of whoopass and then some.

Nagasarete Airantou 4 - its so cute and I love it for that

Seto no Hanayome 2 - Mermaids and Yakuza, I love the dad, so protective to his daughter up to the point where he even uses a great white shark to take out her future husband
 
as it finally arrived today, FMP TSR vol 4 is on my to watch list (means 11-13 and the OVA since its included), also claymore 5 and code geass 6, possibly 7 as well depending on what time i have left.
 
Black Lagoon 4/5/6 - I honestly couldn't stop watching, i would watch them all today but i wan't to keep it going for a bit longer. What a fantastic 6 episodes so far, i like the story and the characters and the script shines through. The story over the last 3 episodes wasn't anything new, i'm sure i've seen it before in some films about the whole U-boat treasure but i can't remember what. But it was just perfect in the way they pull it off. Levi is obviously the centre peice here and i can't wait to see how she develops.

Episode 7 looks to be great with the two of them facing off, i can't wait to watch that. Not seen much of Benny though, i want to know a bit more about him and how he came to be on the ship and how the whole group formed. I'm not sure if that get's covered later or not but i'm interested in how they got to the stage at episode one.
 
Shuffle! 18 - So i see they have changed things back to the first few episodes. The laughs are back, along with the cat break and the change in music. It was an ok episode, was nice to see Asa and Rin go out in the usual making you cringe way. I'm a bit worried after 18 episodes it's only now that Rin realises he needs to get his act together, bit late in the day if you ask me. I hope they don't mess it up and go completley random. I enjoyed Asa alot in this episode, especially towards the end one of the best characters next to Primula.

Black Lagoon 7 - Very enjoyable episode, i know i keep harpering on about the script and characters but honestly the way they interact and speak thier lines is just fantastic. The voice actors are spot on for the job. This episode finally sees things between Rock and Revy kick off and it was just brilliant to watch, you could tell it was coming as it was setup over the U boat episodes but it was just so much better than i expected. I love the sneaky product placement too, Heineken anyone? :lol: 4 episodes of the first season to go, which is way to short in my opinion, and i look forward to every single one.


Kanon 2006 3 - So today i crammed in the first three episodes of Kanon 2006. For the introductory episodes they are very enjoyable and the cast that i have seen so far is standard in the sense of this lineup is seen in every series, but the characters themselves differ from what i've seen elsewhere. Thier personalities are great and they all fit with every other character in some way and it just seems to work. Yuuichi is the usual male lead when there are background characters around him but when Ayu or Makoto are around him they play of each other and it's great to watch.

The animation is well done with a good blend of CGI. The soundtrack is somewhat dissapointing and the OP/ED music feels out of place compared to the overall quality of the show. Not a fan of the bubble eye's for a show thats supposed to be somewhat serious but it's a minor thing that after a few episodes probably won't even matter.
 
Death Note - 28

I'm beginning to wonder how they will finish it off in four more episodes since it's in the middle of an arc. I'm guessing they're beginning to rush things because I'm not as excited as I used to be when I see the next episode preview. It was still a good episode. I really do feel sorry for Misa because Light can be such a twat at times.

Less that 10 episodes for the time skip? Madhouse understands the hatred of part 2 with fans, how considerate of them.

Naruto Shippuuden 12 - A decent episode - not as full as action and superduperninjaskills as I would have hoped, but I think next weeks episode will satisfy those dorky needs.
I can't wait to see my favouite character, Neji, fight again, especially now as he's a jounin. Rock Lee is brilliant too, so a battle that contains both of them will be fun to watch.

Team Kakashi vs. Uchiha Itachi is going to be cool too. Naruto better have some new moves and not just overdose on that stupid shadow clone technique again.
