The bug is not a bug (sort of, maybe). It was about one of Gino's scenes not showing up so stalling his character path. I kicked him out of the party as soon as Mimi was available; by doing that Sterk eventually shows up for hire, who then conflicts with Gino's events - apparently Gino should barge into Atelier Totori moaning that you're adventuring with Sterk. I never got this, and hired both of them at the same time which 'glitched' his events from never happening
I finished it today, turned the TV off and hammered X to get through the ending (I'm weird in that if I saw an ending I would have no motivation to play it again). Now already Iron rank in mid-October year 1. With colossal weapons.
The money trick is with Spring Cups. So easy to make, wholesale, buy ten, open them all and sell the contents for about 10000+ profit. Started New Game+ with 100,000+ cole, and Totori and Gino still say that they couldn't get Peter's 100,000 trip money together. Fools.

Seriously, though, it feels like sometimes you're not making any progress at all - you're chipping away at character request, citizen requests, assignments and travelling all at the same time. Preserve and soon enough the rewards start piling in. Save and load and then see the character's items you can easily get, since they sometimes ask for things you can't get yet.
Also as soon as you can explore the catacombs make it your number one priority forgoing character requests and such since there's an item found in there that you need ASAP (unlike me who got it near the end of year 2 and had a struggle during the endgame
)

Whoever added me recently on PSN and PM'd me about Naruto Generations. If you want i can give you a match tonight at any time after 8pm, sorry i couldn't lastnight but i was between the gym and pub before a marathon on COD spec ops with a friend.
I'd just like to know if you've unlocked all the characters or not yet, if you can let me know if you have some major characters unlocked or not that'd be great. I do not want to use minato or someone that you haven't unlocked yet as that's not fair.
Mainly i'll skip between Itachi and Kakashi though may use Naruto or one of the Kage if you've unlocked everyone.
Hope you don't like to fight with distanced characters, they are a pain in the ass.

Lol that was me. Dude to be truthfull havent started the story mode yet so havent unlocked anyone. So we can do the old school characters if you want! I will be working on unlocking some of them starting from most probably today or tomorrow night.

Good good, Can't stand those characters like temari, stands miles away hurling crap at you constantly so that you just end up double jumping left and right till you can get and opening to chakra sprint to their face.
In that case i'll stick with Kakashi, I'll give you a little hint, i flow from combo's to chakra attacks without much time for people to block so staying up close isn't always best.
Do you mind if i use Kakashi with the Lightning blade rather than fang pursuit jutsu, it doesn't change much but i prefer seeing the electric attacks
so shall we say 8ish?

Wow i have just had my ass handed to me on naruto ultimate storm generations by tachi! I won one but the rest of the time i was getting knocked from end to end! I am going to train hard, there is only so much i can do by hiding behind trees from tachi, which actually happen at one point!

I've been trying to play the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer as I never bothered with it on release. Fairly good fun with mates but on 3 separate occasions last night I got disconnected from the game on the 9th or 10th (and final) wave fo a match... meaning I get no experience/credits adn wasted a good hour and a half of my time.
Not sure if it's my internet connection or EA servers but I hate both anyway.

You're actually not that bad, if you want to challenge yourself to the limits then don't do the tournies, go for survival mode. I'm using Kakashi VS everyone in Akatsuki - one after the other with the same health bar. Its pushing me to breaking point at times.
I'm free between 7 and 8ish tonight if you want another match. or on sunday at some point. I'll drop you a message on PSN or something if i see you online
I had a great survival bout lastnight, managed to link cutscenes! I threw a character into the distance after a combo (cutscene throw), Jaraiya kicked them back towards me (cutscene kick) but I'd already set up to chakra attack after my combo so as soon as the cutscene for jaraiya stopped it started with the double rasengan blasting the character into the distance again where jaraiya kicked them again.
It was a perfect KO. I'd have loved to have been able to video it.

I am doing ok with sasuke's and young naruto's one but i have hit a brick wall with pain. He is a hard bastard to be sure. Can't do tonight cause of work and then the baby will most probably take preference. But i can do sunday so just hit me up on psn anytime and i will be ready to throw down.

The chakra attack: unrelenting force can be used on the ground or in the air so be careful, he tends to substitute then chakra attack regularly so try not to substitute then chakra attack yourself as a parry as the hit radius for unrelenting force keeps him protected long enough to keep you from dealing damage. Practice on Neji as they have similar attacks chakra wise but neji being much faster will help you stay on your toes.

Just speaking to a mate at work and he asked if i got extra charavters from save files from the last 2 games. Which i dont have. Can i still unlock them normally in the game? Cheers for the tips on pain. Will have a go tomorrow morning

I continued playing as if I'm actually in the universe and refused to murder people/pick sides but in the end I changed my allegiances - sorry Kenny but Lilly has something of a military background and is a beautiful woman so I'm going to side with her

To Answer you Devil: I have no idea, i got the extra characters from my storm 2 savefiles too :/ i think the majority of them are just support only characters though so not really missing out too much, there will be a way of unlocking them (i presume the sasuke storyline as that goes through the 5 kage meeting too (and as the majority of the support characters are kage's guards this would be likely)
Otherwise it'd be going through the tournies and survival modes.
That was a good few fights lastnight, don't worry about the quick depart - i know when a babies crying its not exactly something you can ignore lol (nor would i expect you to!) So thats why i don't use Naruto online anyway, you're getting much better with Sasuke. I was really hoping for a Susano fight but you didn't awaken him lol.
I feel like a little wise proctor, you've picked up the chakra attacks well and timing them with the substitution jutsu's has paid off, the next step is watching for how many subs the other guy has and timing them well: for instance you may have 4 subs, the opponent has 3, you keep subbing each others combo's until you end up winning the sub-off as you have 1 more to use.... this approach isn't the best way, as it runs you down to 0 and the next attack they use may be a chakra one - leaving you wide open with no way of getting out of the way.
Which leads to step 3: Once you've mastered the substitions and chakra attack timing it'll be time to combine volleys! so like i said before, cutscenes from support characters and chakra attacks linked into a volley that keeps the other person unable to attack.
Otherwise it'd be going through the tournies and survival modes.
