What Games Are You Playing?

Also finished up the Binding of Isaac by getting Platinum God so I started on Little Kings Story. My word, this is a charming little game. I'm loving the soundtrack being quite whimsical with one or two classic pieces. Not played it too much but it's good fun so far and reminds me a little of Pikmin.

Hah, funny you should mention Binding of Isaac, since it just got another 8 achievements/items new chapter and ending today i hear with the 1.3 update. Feels like they are trolling you now, eh ;p

Although damn it I had just gotten You Spin Me Round by Dead Or Alive out of my head and it turns up in a bloody crop plowing segment. Really!? Thanks for that Lollichain :(
Haha...same here! I've mostly been playing it late at night when I'm getting tired, so that and Hey Mickey! have been stuck in my head. :?

Started my Halo Reach rental. I guess I like it more than the others so far but I'm not that far in.

I still firmly believe that the Red vs. Blue mythos is much more interesting than that of Halo itself. I would love a Project Freelancer game.

Deep into Atelier Totori now. Got to a part where I have to wait (now half a year) for the licence to be renewed. Despite early travelling seemingly making it feel like time is quickly passing, it hasn't, and things feel so relaxed since you're always doing something that adds to licence points. I did make some Nylonfeather far earlier than was probably possible (was still in the teen alchemy levels), so that really helped deeper exploration.

Keeping an eye on what Fabby said about an obligatory boss fight (if it hasn't already passed), and now have an armada of saves.

Still the same humour, a far more relaxed approach to the crux of the game's system, and Rorona seems to be a fan of Ren and Stimpy...

It's a definite improvement on its prequel.

I found out that Phantasy Star Online 2 went into open beta and now my entire summer is about to disapear. I was really worried that after all this time and the stink fest that was Phantasy Star Universe would really affect this...

Nope, it's PSO. Well, it feels like an evolution of PSO in positive ways. It flows a bit more smoothly in combat for instance. It works surprisingly well keyboard and mouse too. Going off of what my friends picked I went for a RAmar, which i'd only previously touched for about 50 hours on PSO (Compaired to my over 1000 for my HUmar) and...Wow. I now find it quite fun to play a ranger! You have your normal view with a small auto lock on range when you're looking at enemies, or you can press z and actually get a cross hair for more precise aiming. Loads of different weapon varieties as well, I started off with one of the more traditional machine guns before finding a rocket launcher. You also start off with a gunsaber where you can alternate between gun and saber by just hitting shift. You can combo with this quite well and also juggle enemies.

I feel like i'm falling in love with the game rather rapidly. Also, Dat Hair.

Naruto ultimate ninja STORM Generations,

I sat lastnight and worked my way through the storylines one after the other trying to stay in tune with the anime (young naruto story then zabuza and haku before moving forward)

Have to say the anime that shows up between fights just topped it off for me, by far the best game i've bought all year.

They've really pushed out some great new characters and remastered a few of the characters from previous storm games. You can tell some are copy pasta's from previous games but once you play through the storylines you can really feel the difference in power as you go along.

Can't wait to finish work and get back to it.

I'll refrain from splurging, but oh man PSO 2 is more than I was hoping for. It is fantastic and a worthy successor to the PSO name.

I have however managed to find time to finish Ace Combat Assault Horizon. Fantastic game, although rather different to previous AC's thanks to the DFM and ASM modes. I quite enjoyed using them to speed things up, even if they were quite set piece-ish. And the soundtrack was as utterly amazing as ever. Still miss my fake city names though!

Adventuring forth in distant places in Atelier Totori.

Came up against the Flaustraut.

Was annihilated by the Flaustraut.

Used guide to make better weapons and armour.

Flaustraut was annihilated.

Holy Power made all the difference.

I downloaded Persona 3 Portable yesterday and starting playing it today. Enjoying it so far...but I have to fight the urge to troll with the multiple choice answers.

Practically done with Atelier Totori. Done everything 'story' wise (with Totori herself actually addressing this fact herself, bless), and have a final three months left to... sleep?

Thanks to a glitch ( :x ) I cannot see the True Ending, so a speedrun through, making sure everything is being done correctly is on the cards. Thankfully you keep your weapons, armour, accessories and money, so coupled with skipping cutscenes it shouldn't take that long.

A hearty lol to the final boss, though, who, thanks to massively overpowered weapons and armour, went down like a sack of spuds :p

Jak and Daxter classics trilogy

Went to the pub lastnight with most of the lads and our girlfriends, offered to give some a lift, one said in payment of me being a taxi he'll let me borrow his jak and daxter trilogy :) so i've been playing the first game and loving it.

@Max

Wowzer. I drifted away from Totori after having my arse handed to me by the Flaustraut. My weapons and armour were woeful I just couldn't face all the grinding needed to get them up to scratch.

I also found money incredibly hard to come by, which affected my ability to actually make decent armour and weapons and feed those greedy Chim bastards. Apparently there's a trick to get cash by creating an item with certain traits then selling them but it seemed like a lot of trouble and I kind of resented having to resort to that.

What's the bug that prevented you from seeing the true ending? I know you have to jump through a shitload of hoops to get it.

I'll probably go back to Totori after playing Meruru.

Yeah i'm thoroughly enjoying it, the first game and second game i've vener played before but i completed the 3rd game back on the ps2 so its sort of backwards but a nice game to just sink into and play without having to think about it too much.

Abit like spyro games

RE6 demo courtesy of 'Dragon's Dogma' So far I am LOVING this demo, only played Leon and Chris's parts, not Jake yet, the demos are the ones shown at E3.

The new moves and aiming etc is so much more fun, not to mention the horror has been toned up, even in Chris’s actiony scenario I found my rifle frequently empty and having to resort to pistol shots, and Leon’s gun has no ammo back up, so if you’re out, you’re out. The new melee system is brilliant too. The Ja’vo are awesome with the way they adapt to the wounds they suffer too.

I have only two complaints: one, in Leon’s scenario you’re forced to walk some parts for no real reason, which is annoying but helps the atmosphere, but the other is pretty ******* awful and I hope it’s demo only: No pause. At all. For inventory, sure that adds tension, but for the OPTIONS!? The last (only zombie filled) part of Leon’s demo was ruined because I had to fiddle with the aim options so I could shoot properly and when I was done Helena had killed everyone so I couldn’t even let myself be killed for a checkpoint restart. No pause is ****ing clownshoes as the kids say; for online, fine, but for offline solo, what the ****? I need to pee sometimes you know! This had better be fixed.
