What Games Are You Playing?

I'm slowly getting to the point where I feel like I have actually "started" Skyward Sword. Major breakthrough was being able to turn the HUD off, now I just need to get to the first dungeon and I'll feel like I can play it a bit more fluidly rather than pumping all my time into Skyrim.

Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Saints Row The Third.

(Although Skyrim randomly crashed on me not long ago so I gave up with it for the night...)

Do you have Saints Row 2? How does it compare? I've got 2 and I WAS excited for The Third, but the customisation seems cut down significantly and I've been hearing mixed things...

I had saints row 2, don't any more so I'll go off my memory...

It it smaller than the second one (map size) and there seems to be less to choose from in terms of clothes... and weapons are pretty much just upgrade stages so you just pay x amount of money (I can't remember what 2 was like in terms of weapons). But you the character customisation is quite good and the graphics look nice.

I like the Co-Op play on it, as it makes things a bit more fun if you know someone else with the game, and you can use your own cars and save your progress to continue in singleplayer if you wanted.

Did I cover everything you wanted to know?
(I didn't mention the story as I think it really depends on the person, but if you like the 2nd you'll probably like this one. But don't take my word on it. =) )

Finished Valkyria Chronicles last night at 23:45 after 56-57 hours of play time. Now with the clear data and can work my way on missions getting "A" ranks, medals and unit profiles.
A phenomenal game, as others had stated, just a shame about the squeals.

Interesting, thanks; I intend to rent it (when Lovefilm gets round to figuring out what the priority section is for...) but I wanted a brief overview really.

Currently playing Dead Rising 2 Off the Record. SO MUCH FUN. Haven't even started the story yet, Sandbox mode is exactly what the game needed, a way to just muck about without worrying about messing up your save etc AND your experience is shared over both story and sandbox, so double win there. Loving the combo weapons, I never played DR2 so when this game came along I really had no choice but to get it :p So far the electric crusher (Basically mjolnir :p), knife gloves and laser sword are my favourites, though for standard weapons, the machete is pretty solid too. I also like how most of the sharp objects you throw stick in the zombies. I thought it was a neat touch how in DR1 when you impaled a zombie on a lead pipe, blood poured out the end of the pipe and now you get to stick swordfish in their heads.

All this talk of Saints Row: The Third, people do know that the second game is available for free if you have the third one, right? (On PSN).

Despite my promise, I continued with Dark Souls. Almost beat Queelag on my first go, but she did that Red Mist of Death attack before my final sword swing connected :x

Cow.

Dat battle theme.

In some ways enjoying Abyss, in other ways not as much, it's a little more serious than I expected from a Tales game, not as many comedic moments and no voiced skits leaves a lot to be desired. Although there's a few times were the party splits up which I liked. Namely when you play as Asch with Natalia, Jade and Anise going with him. Nearing the end of the game now and it's been fun, time to do some sidequests for costumes and that.

I'm playing Zelda but I've barely had any chance to play it so I'm basically standing outside the first dungeon atm.

The tutorial was slow and a little dull, but its picked up from there.

Got Tales of the Abyss sitting on my desk waiting for me to play it too. I also have Xenoblade and Yakuza 4 to play; I seriously wish I had the time to devote to all my geeky hobbies I wanted.

Started playing a housemates copy of Skyward Sword and I've beaten the first dungeon. Now I just need to wait for him to get further so I can play the next part.

I have taken leave of my senses and decided that I need to play Mass Effect 2 soon, at least before the third one comes out. Which means that I need to re-play Mass Effect 1. Which means I also need to read all the books and comics. D:

After about 6 months of Suikoden Tierkries and 3 for Final Fantasy XIII I am drawing near to completion just in time for Christmas. Why so long? I've been leveling up and taking long breaks.

I started Enslaved on the weekend and completed it on hard within a few hours of actual game play.. all in all it was a good game but I don't think it was actually "hard"...

I am currently starting Resonance of Fate at the moment.. I say starting I am listing to the music on the start screen while browsing this forum.

Except it doesn't.

There's a bounty hunter who works for the illusive man in the third book who is supposed to be in the 3rd game.

Though I'd be shocked/happier if Kahlee Sanders actually showed up in the games.
