No, it was not quite as bad as the first, but 4 out of the 8 corners of the storage box were crushed to some extent. I even told Zavvi in our correspondence that I would gladly pay them extra to have the replacement wrapped and padded properly in a box instead of that cardboard wing-ding wrap, but that fell on deaf ears. Something that large, heavy, expensive, and limited should be given more respect, but no one cares about the customer any more, just make their buck and run...

Oh, and I just got the same form letter back from her as everyone else got. Stick it to the man!

I received the final volumes of two series from Japan today - Ancient Magus Bride Volume 4, and Gundam The Origin Volume 6 - so I beleive I'm able to take a break from any import orders from amazon.co.jp until late December, when SBY 2202 Volume 6 comes out.

Demand a partial refund. I've done that a few times with them due to LE's not turning up mint. I'm usually not so concerned about condition though so I'm happy to get a reasonable discount for it. I think I'd push for 20% back for the twice over inconvenience.

I'm not even going to bother expending any more effort on this. I actually ended up with two copies of the set; I had purchased a nearly flawless set from a member on another forum, just a few hours before Zavvi informed me they were shipping me that replacement. I have someone else who is buying the replacement set off me for full price even with the minor damage to the box, as he missed out on ordering one himself. I sent him photos of the dings and he was Ok with it. So I'm ending up with a good copy for myself and getting my money back for the replacement without having the hassle of returning it overseas a second time. I just won't be buying another Limited Edition set of any kind from Zavvi or MangaUK, ever again, after going through this two-month ordeal.

The first of my Rightstuf orders. Got hit for £11 but whatever. Just tested it and it somehow plays without issue on my PS4. I'll give it a rewatch soon since it was one of my favourite 2016 series.

How long for delivery? Haven't ordered from them for about two years. Hope mine doesn't get hit as it's £40+ in VAT before handling fees.
