What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Yeah Stiivun **** brexit! lol Seriously that is a great haul of titles in a time that sadly I shudder to think how much an order like that costs these days.

Bunch of titles there I would like to add to my collection eventually.

Going to go out on a limb and assume Trigun Badlands Rumble isn't almost 5 hours long like the back of the box suggests.

Today's pickups!

PlayStation Vita TV (or PSTV as Sony called it outside Asia). This device is now out of print but I managed to grab a copy for £32 at CeX in a very good condition. It did take some time to configure due to the previous owner leaving his account on the device, so I had to go into Safe Mode and restore the system so that I can use it without issues. I got this because I like the idea behind it and felt it would be a good component in case I wanted to play a Vita game on the big screen.

And I also picked up Alter Bridge's latest album The Last Hero. It's a pretty decent album but it will take a few relistens for some of the tracks.

I love my PSTV, was worth it for P4 Golden alone, game actually looks ok on a big screen.

The white listing stuff is weird though, for example last time I tried, the EU release of Danganronpa doesn't work, but the US one does...

Couple of figures were delivered yesterday

Thanks.

Well not so sure about the **** Brexit though. I'm Belgian so don't have so much to do with Brexit than the UK members here. Don't keep a close eye on exchange rates myself, guess the € vs. $ is pretty much stable lately.
But it's now for us non-UK members a lot more interesting to buy releases from Anime Ltd., Animatsu/Manga (not so much), MVM and god forbid Kazé

After buying the latest issue of Megami Deluxe, I got the idea to have a look around to see if I could get a hold of any of the older issues domestically and my search came off trumps as I managed to get my hands on Megami Deluxe Vol.10. I believe this was released around March 2008 so it mainly features seroes from around or before that time period. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS graces the cover and the issue also features images from: Lucky Star, Clannad, Shakugan no Shana II, Bamboo Blade amongst others! (38 series in total!)

Also, at the same time the seller also had a copy of what is to date the only English Edition of Megami Magazine Deluxe released. Brought out by DMP in October 2007. This issue contains a collection of images mainly from assorted Megami Magazine and Animedia issues from around 2004-2005. The back page sections highlighting series featured instead serve as introductions rather than item promotion blurbs compared to it's Japanese counterparts. My-HiME & My-OTOME are the main features of the issue, other featured series include: Ah! My Goddess, Negima!, AIR, SHUFFLE! amongst others! (28 series in total!)

Selection of images from Megami Deluxe Vol.10...
Just a short time away from the festive season. Get Hype!

RAKI☆SUTA!!!

O ___ O

GO GO BAMBOO BLADERS!!!

Clannad gets it's own section.

Double Sided Poster in this issue includes the Nanoha image on the cover and this from Shakugan no Shana II.

And, Images from English Megami Deluxe Vol.1...
A massive 19 images from across My-HiME & My-OTOME.

Probably needs no introduction around these parts!

D.C.S.S. lass!

25 YEARS!!!

AIR got it's own devoted section in here.

Bonus gift was a super long Daki-sized poster. Mai from My-HiME here and Arika from My-OTOME on the other side!

As Fate (Pun intended!) would have it look what was being advertised in Megami DX Vol.10...

@IncendiaryLemon I saw the start of your collection yesterday in the collection photo thread. I bet it's come some way since then. Aniplex releasing the the Monogatari series in Volumes is what took me away from collecting the series myself.

And this, my friends, is what happens when anime distributors do not pay strict adherence to the constraints of Amaray cases or other such standardised casing items. Gaps arise in shelving units through poorly-fitting boxsets!

Incidentally, do you plan to replace your old domestic Gunbuster release? It lacks the eye catches!

With the US DVDs at some point, yes. Although I do live in hope of a US/UK Blu Ray release of the series.
