What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Persona 3 #4 - Winter of Rebirth LE and Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Part 5 LE both arrived today, at a cost of £121 ;_;, despite DHLs tracking still claiming Friday at 2am this morning....while I do admire their speed, I'd like it more if it was a bit more accurate. Luckily he turned up as I was walking up the driveway after work so I caught it.

Have to say I like the artbox a lot more than I thought I would, it looks a lot nicer in person than it does in the stock images on Amazon imo, I also love the fact they left enough space so all the booklets/artcards/crap also fit inside.

With that said, I'm still a big fan of the artwork on the slipcases....

Anyway I'm looking forward to finally watching both Persona and Akito as I've been putting it off til I had them all, mainly because I hate waiting months for the next part.

Congrats on getting your Akito set complete and i feel for all of you in the UK trying to import foreign releases nowadays.

The artbox of Akito indeed looks very nice and has indeed enough room to fit all five volumes with their booklets. My volumes are still in their plastic wrap and still fit nicely into the artbox.

Thanks, I put picking up the last part off for far too long though, it was £48 shipped at one point but I think it ended up at £58 by the time I actually bought it :/ That includes shipping/VAT though, guess it makes up for me getting Part 1 for £10 and part 3 for like £25 from eBay though lol.

I still have mine in the plastic wraps too as I like to keep all the loose bits n bobs together, I just took em out them for the photos and it took me longer than I care to admit to get them back in the plastic wraps lol.

Getting them back in the wraps is indeed sometimes a bit frustrating, that sticky part always gets in the way. What i usually do is but the sticky part on my desk, not to firmly just that the wrap stays where it is, and then slide in the box. Works pretty well that way.

Well received a JP release too today, and also waited to long to order it with the result that it was OOP and i had to resort to a marketplace seller, so higher price and also import duties to be paid upfront to DHL.

Bought Bleach movie 1 from HMV yesterday, was tempted to get Trinity Seven while there but it's cheaper on UP1 so i'll get it there. Received Future Diary Part 1 today, got it new for £21.50 so both parts only cost me £25.50 which is pretty good :p

Today I present to you not one, not two but four Japanese games! Two of them are imports.

For PlayStation 4 I have Dead or Alive 5 Last Round and Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, both of which I got relatively cheap and mainly to bring for my society's games nights. But both have been on my radar for a very long time now so I'm glad that I finally picked them up.

And for the import side we have IA/VT -COLORFUL- and Miracle Girls Festival for the PlayStation Vita. These two are both music rhythm games and the latter is in fact a Project Diva clone by SEGA. The former is an entirely new rhythm game from Marvelous surrounding the IA Vocaloid Project. Both are compatible with PlayStation TV. Miracle Girls Festival was also a pre-owned copy because the price for a brand new one was too high for the game's content and it turned out very well.

I imported my games from Solaris Japan as you pay in Yen instead of Dollars like Play Asia and it's a relatively accurate site (they list the original sets and not the re-releases which is good for collector's out there who want to avoid 'The Best' editions).

That's the last of the Tsubasa omnibuses, and after several years of buying them it's hard to believe that it's finally over. I guess it's time for me to find some new manga worthy of my precious shelf space.

And as for Durarara I'm just amazed that an Amazon order with free delivery can arrive just two days later. It's always taken at least a week previously, so either I got lucky or Amazon have sorted themselves out.

Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Lionheart Edition (PS3)...this game is great and i'm glad i bought it (all due to a certain someones influence), the dialogue is hilarious.

From what I've seen of the dialogue alone makes me want to play that game!

Anyway, Thanks to @unknownfate I have myself a copy of Megami Magazine Deluxe Vol.2. It came out Early 2004 by the looks of it so a lot of the featured stuff probably came out around 2002/2003. Please Twins & Please Teacher are heavily featured in the Magazine amongst others. So that leaves me with just 16 volumes to fill in the gap (it ain't happening, but I can dream!).

Sampling of stuff from the issue...
Both Please Twins and Please Teacher feature heavily in this Volume.

A certain favourite Character Designers works feature not once...

...but twice!

'Sssssssss I'll take a Sssssssstein~!'

'Chiiiiii~!'

That Evanjellyon Thingy People go on about!

.

Since your stuff is coming from Japan, DHL goes by the Japanese time, not UK time. 2am tomorrow in Japan is 6pm today here so, it's basically saying it would arrive today before the usual post round comes to an end.

But it came yesterday lol also the times on the DHL tracking are UK time from the point it hit London as the Delivered time is the time I signed for it. It reached me safe enough so no harm done in the end anyway.

Aw man, I want that Little Witch Academia set, shame it's OOP.

I got these today, I mentioned above that I didn't like the spine of the BBB set but it looks better in person imo (probably because the sets actually thinner than I thought it looked). Still not thrilled at it costing near £50 for 12 episodes as I don't think it's worth that but par for course with Anime Limited sets for me at this point.
