Grav's venture into Asian Cinema continues with two more Hong Kong films from the Jackie Chan catalog!

Kirk Wong's Crime Story (重案組) and Sammo Hung & Corey Yuen's Dragons Forever (飛龍猛將) have been ordered. I haven't picked up an 88 Films release before, but I really wanted to delve into their Jackie Chan catalog after hearing positive buzz about the releases. These two were chosen first mainly because they were readily available on Amazon in terms of stock, but I intend to get every Jackie Chan film from 88 Films over the coming months.

You’ve not been buying their Jackie Chan offerings as they release them?
I hope the first pressings of them all are still available so you get the booklets.

I'm confident with the nicely designed ones, however the first four grey style releases are definitely on second print mode. All of the nicely designed releases (Crime Story, Dragons Forever, Miracles, The Protector) were definitely available with slipcovers in HMV.

I have Eureka's releases for both Police Story and Project A. I intend on getting his other Eureka sets later down the line.

Ordered Persona 5 Royal. This will not only be my first Persona game but also pretty much my first anime style game.

I liked P3TA and P4TA so expecting good things.

Just ordered P5R from Argos to pick up at the instore one at my Sainsbury's.
Took me about half an hour to add my discount card and Nectar card to my account, which I had to make because I have forgotten the details of my old one.

So for this haul, I wanted to get a large batch and I chose nine films across seven sets from Third Window Films. I picked Sion Sono's Antiporno and Cold Fish, Takeshi Kitano's Hana-Bi, Shinya Tsukamoto's Kotoko, Eiji Uchida's Lowlife Love, Shin Su-Won's Pluto, and Toshiaki Toyoda: The Early Years (which includes the films; Pornostar, Unchain, and 9 Souls).

From the NIS America EU store, I decided to acquire The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III when it was on offer because that franchise just doesn't want to go down in price and stay in stock for very long. In addition, I also acquired Utawarerumono Zan which is a Musou spin-off/reimagining of the second game in the franchise.

Then on eBay, I ordered The 25th Ward: The Silver Case and Onechanbara ZII Chaos. These two have been on my list for as long as I can remember and are slowly going up in price/value so I figured that I would grab them now when I can especially considering I paid at least £13 for each.

At the time of this post, the eBay titles have shipped already while both Arrow Films/Third Window Films Asian Cinema haul and the NISA EU haul have yet to be fulfilled.

A few weeks ago I picked up two Jackie Chan films that were distributed by 88 Films. Well, today I just got word that the rest of Jackie Chan's nicely designed releases are selling out very fast to the point where two of them are already reprinted in standard edition sets. Luckily one of those was Crime Story so I had that sorted but the other was The Protector (威龍猛探) so I got that on order through eBay. In addition, to play it safe, I decided to also order Miracles (奇蹟) which actually went down in price and the upcoming Heart of Dragon (龍的心) release. I won't be bothering with the first four Jackie Chan releases from 88 Films that were in a historical grey-style packaging since consistency is basically broken for that already and the quality isn't as strong as these more recent additions.

OK thanks. The also have Crime Story but here they couldn’t guarantee it will come with a slip ... guess i just need to take a jump and might get lucky :)
