Is Anime Elements a budget release thing from Right Stuf? I don't think I've heard of it before.

I actually own Blessing of the Campanella, it was quite cheap so I thought I'd give it a try. It has a few decent moments and is mostly kind of "nice" but it's mostly wasted potential. It also has a really weird main plot, luckily the main plot rarely appears. I actually think I'd have preferred it if they'd just stuck with "Everyday life of RPG characters" and put a bit more effort into that rather than trying to have a story. The OVA episode was pretty good.

The OP and ED for Umi Monogatari are both by artists I'm quite fond of. Masumi Ito doesn't seem to do many albums though, which is a shame.

Blessing of the Campanella is licensed by FUNimation, so it's a FUNimation budget label.

If it was licensed by rightstuf, it would be through their Lucky Penny label which is what is used for their budget releases.

Funimation only had streaming rights, and the series was already released by Lucky Penny. The cover above is a re-release.

According to WTK, Anime Elements is a new label for Nozomi Entertainment/Lucky Penny.

You can call it selective blindness since I didn't originally notice that TRSI was included alongside FUNimation in the licensed section in its ANN encyclopaedia entry (which is stupid since I'm wearing glasses).

I'll be interested in seeing where AL go with this....

Something close to the Italian release... that seems like a £40 set... (and indeed that is about the price it comes to).

Something close to the US release... that seems a lot more like a £25 - £32 set... I'm hoping that as a lot of the materials must already exist for the it set and AL have said there is a good relationship with sunrise we may be able to edge closer to that...

If it's a case of business/contractual issues pushing it closer to what the US set looks like then it isn't the end of the world... As long as the price point on release reflects this.

All opinion of course and I'm fairly confident AL will be able to come up with a appropriate solution...

I'm not really a fan of the Danganronpa LE. I personally think the SE cover looks far better.
Noein has really nice cover art but I know literally nothing about that series.

I am very very excited for this. Still no date but Discotek are "working on it"

The above Noein art looks very snazzy

That Noein cover is utterly stunning - I'm not even the biggest fan of the show but I'd buy that in a heartbeat if it came out over here.

The Danganronpa cover on the other hand looks awful.

Noein uses the same artwork as the Japanese BD. It does look nice, but the show doesn't look like my type of thing, but neither does the others outside of Night on the Galactic Railroad. The Japanese BD for Galactic Railroad wasn't supposed to be all that hot but I love the film. Will buy.

And here I thought everyone but me loved Noein. It's a striking cover, though, and the box will look amazing with the foil. I'm almost tempted to give the series another go.

It's worth looking into. Are there no reviews in the AUKN database?

I may just make it the subject of one of my upcoming YouTu - UH-OH! Almost let something slip there. :p
