Considering it's a digipack with only 4 discs; 2 for TV, 1 for King of Eden/Air Communication & 1 for Paradise Lost (so no overlapping in this case), I'm pretty much happy with this treatment.

Yeah I really like the look of that. I've not actually seen anything of the franchise, although I do own Mangas release of the series on BD, but I might pick this up and just get rid of the copy I own.

Colour me interested. Eden of the East was one of, if not the first anime BD I bought. It's also one of the earlier shows I watched when I got into anime I believe, and one of which I've had the most success recommending to newcomers. I have fond memories of the show and I personally thought it was very good having watched it multiple times - so owning a lovely set for the series is definitely something I'm interested in.

Most likely that's their template for how the box should be printed, and they don't have a mock up of it assembled so they went with that to show what it looks like. The extras in these special editions seem to be going in a direction I don't like, and seem to be getting a bit sparse aswell.

That Parasyte collectors box is just beautiful. I have no need for all those extras though.. I'm hoping I might be able to purchase that set, throw the collector stuff out & place part 2 inside.. (long shot and an expensive idea but ..it's so nice!)

Still made me lol though. And yeah, the items are a little underwhelming compared to Sentai's earlier Collector's Editions. I do, however, quite like the show itself so I am willing to pay the extra money to have a nice box of it on myself - I am not convinced an english-friendly release with a nicer box will come out (not that it looks amazing, just that it's probably the best the anglosphere nations will get).
