Lutga said:I have to admit I did think that way when I first got into anime, but at this point, you kind of just get used to it - anime costs a lot in comparison to 'regular' TV/movies - it's just the way it is. Doesn't mean it's right or wrong, although you can certainly understand the factors of why it is that way. Ultimately, it is a niche interest, where the majority of titles only sell a few hundred copies, so have to be priced at that degree to make money. In a way, I'm kind of glad we're in the UK, as even if we get stuff later than everywhere else, it's usually cheaper compared to American or Japanese releases.
