Guides are there to be used for whenever you need help. I followed it so that I could get each light and complete each route, not so that I could get 100% completion for other things. I completed it in a way so that I could read the whole story without getting sidetracked. Is that simple enough for you, or should I teach you how to count to ten?

No your fine by use self trying to get there, guess when I say 100% completion of CG and music it means something else on maxonverse
 
I didn't say I completed it 100%. If you bothered to look up this page you noticed I have already said I completed the story. I just didn't unlock every single thing that is in the VN (which I also already said). It's like saying you completed a game. Everyone knows that you beat the game. No-one assumes it means it's 100% (unless it's you). What is so hard to get about that? I guess they don't use English in Otakuland.

anyhow Miss.Shuu-Shuu enough with this banter, is there any recent novels you on at the moment. I got to a point in Da Capo but I wondered off and found something else to fiddle with
 
I've not been into anything much recently. I have been on and off with Kara no Shoujo. I do like the parts where you put things together like you do with Logic in Miles Edgeworth Investigations.

As for Da Capo, it is really easy to not make progress with it. It's such a cookie cutter romance VN I just lose interest. Which is a shame because the anime is sort of a guilty pleasure for me.

Same here. Well, mostly off. Love the story and characters and all the detail but so far I've only got one ending and that was grim to say the least.

The only thing about the game that bothers me is that the consequences of your choices aren't very transparent. Clearly the two places you can choose to visit each day have some effect on your ending as you need to find evidence in the right places, but it's hard to know what ARE the right places.

Or maybe I'm missing something? I'll have to go back and see if I can work it out before using a walkthrough.

EDIT: Oh, and Yumina the Ethereal, a visual novel/RPG, is up for preorder (NSFW). Knowing JAST it'll be out sometime in 2014.
 
Just downloaded Higurashi from MangaGamer. It be my first visual novel on the PC so I have much catching up to do :(

MangaGamer have Go! Go! Nippon! ~My First Trip to Japan~ out at the end of the month.

Seems to be a sight seeing tour of Japan, and some panty shots.

Sight seeing, indeed.
 
In the latest issue of OtakuUSA there's a "buy one get one free" code for use at MangaGamer. If anyone wants it, let me know. I would use it myself but it requires setting up a new account (the promotion is really meant for new customers), and because I used a similar code last year I already have two accounts. Any more and confusion will reign ^_^;
 
Well Holy Moly, if MahoYo didn't go and get a pretty convincing new release date while I was away. ^__^

Considering I preordered it after there had already been two delays, and that was basically eighteen months ago already, I am still not feeling 100% safe, but very hopeful.

The trial version of Deardrops, another music-themed game from Overdrive, is out. Direct download link. I'd be surprised if there was any adult content in the demo (probably won't be any until near the end of the full game) but be aware that there might be.

I played for a bit and like this protagonist much more than Kira Kira's. Looking good!
