It's been a while since I watched it but it was kinda like random sketches based on the series, it's ok, not really super funny.

Hmm..

There are three Persona 3 films (No. 1: Spring of Birth, No. 2: Midsummer Knight's Dream, No. 3: Falling Down). Given this is Aniplex it's hard to predict whether a dub will happen but since the franchise is popular there's a chance in the domestic version.

Cheers dear. Guess those will stay on my to buy list for some time.

Here's another random, how long does it usually take for anime series to be released as "complete" season? It's usually my preference to wait but I'm not totally against seperate parts seeing as my FMA Brotherhood, Black Butler Season 1 and Persona 4 is, I'd just always prefer complete as and when unless there's a mass wait. Attack On Titan for example, really in two minds about buying or waiting!!! :(

It depends on the licensor and distributor.

Aniplex titles and Kaze titles will never get a complete season set because of reverse importation & licensing restrictions by Japan (because they release it too early).

From what I know, with everyone else - when they release Part 1 & 2 of a particular show there are two requirements:
- The Japanese must have at least released a Blu-ray Disc BOX of the series in question. This also applies to Region 2 sets because the UK & Japan have the same DVD region (like K-On! Season 2).
- Part 1 & 2 need some life in the market so at the very least 12-18 months (like Steins;Gate).

Anyone experiencing problems for UP1 specifically the USA site, (search function not working and displays certificate warning)
UK sight seems fine though.

I can't even get on the US site. I get a "This Connection is Untrusted" message.

You're not alone, I had to keep pressing the Reload button on Chrome to get access to the site and now it's saying it's not trustworthy because of UP1 UK. Either UP1 are running maintenance on their US site or they're trying to fix some issues (like the Future Titles section not fully listing the future titles due to an error).

I didn't get the untrustworthy thing on phone but on my laptop I did. Which is bizzare because I use chrome for both, anyways hopefully it'll blow over soon. Wanted to put an order in for DxD New asap.

It wasn't the red background but the yellow one, so I think it meant 'Caution' not 'Untrustworthy'.

So totally going to pre-order DxD New (Funimation still haven't updated their Shop section with the new titles, sigh).

Same. I still stay off a site though, even when yellow. Rather stay on the side of caution, especially when I have to use log in details.

Rather wait until the problem is sorted.

Is there any information on when Funimation will be releasing tales of the abyss?

Nothing yet, but as far as I know they won't be dubbing the subtitled only titles. Which means Tales of the Abyss will be like OniAi. Then again it's been a year now so that could change.

They're now starting to release the rescue titles starting with Cowboy Bebop so hopefully there might be some releases in the next 6 months.

Maybe and hopefully that means the November line up isn't final yet. I only say this as I'm curious to see if what they'll do for DBZ: BoG, hoping for a chipboard box (or whatever it's called) otherwise I'll stick to Manga (or buy both, hey why not lol)

Also noticed UP have B gata for $27.49 now, tempting but since RightStuf have the SAVE for $11.99 hoping UP have a similar price before jumping the gun.

Hopefully they announce something soon, does not bother me if they dub it or not, I actually liked the sub when I watched it a while ago.

I heard that the Gurren Lagann Ultimate edition was set back until the end of September but Amazon, Zavvi and other shops still have September 1st as the release date so is it true or not?

We were told by Andrew himself that the date has been put back, that's just the online shops being slow to update

Anime Limited We're preparing a blog post but the artbook has taken even longer to approve (6 months!) So it'll be last week of September now but since we were delayed we took the chance to mix things up and improve the value of the set for fans:

- Larger artbook dimensions (18.1 x 21cm approx I believe).

- More pages in artbook (116 inc covers now!)

- Larger collector's box, with improved finish (delicious UV spot - we'll detail that more).

- Likely rigid digifiles not Digipack now due to irregular box size, waiting on replicator to come back on that.

- Improved the bit-rate for the TV series on the BD50s.

So while the delay bites, and believe me,we want it out too, we've made use of the time .

We'll have a blog post up as soon as I have it all off to the replicators!

So now they're digifiles. I for one like that style of packaging [see image here http://www.attentionmedia.com/shop/3496 ... 342b86.jpg ] wonder if they'll have a plastic tray or be pourely card, im not fussed either way. WIll likely be much larger than the one I linked to.
