PV of the Shinobu Mail arc of Owarimongatari. I think this is a couple of days old but I didn't see anyone post it. Looks pretty intense. Happy to see the return of Kanbaru, she doesn't show up too often.

Ah, so we finally get to see what happened in that missing segment of time between the end of Onimonogatari and conclusion of Shiro.

First teaser for Gundam Thunderbolt. To say it's a brief glimpse would be putting mildly.

Dat sax though.

My first reaction is basically Baccano! meets Gundam.

I'm hyped for this instalment, is it supposed to be a seinen or something?

Yeah, apparently the source material is a seinen manga.

Whilst I'm happy that's happening, I just can't justify £20 an episode, and that's not even including shipping.
Current price including shipping is around £40 for the first BD volume. It also comes with an OVA episode, and the runtime on Amazon JP is listed as 90 minutes. I wouldn't say that's as bad by Japanese standards.

The Japanese website for One Punch Man has been updated and the first BD/DVD volume lists Japanese and English subtitles!
I will most likely be importing the Japanese singles to avoid the future Viz/Kaze trash releases.

I can't really afford any Japanese standards

I think I'll wait and see just how botched the Kaze version is first before blowing £240 on a series. If it's not too bad I don't mind saving myself a couple hundred quid :p

I would personally wait for a BD-Box but considering this is One Punch Man we've got at least 1-2 years until they end up selling out.

Praise the Bandai Visual!

Gangsta. then Comet Lucifer and now One Punch Man.

I'm told Kaze normally force subtitles, rather than burn them in. So if necessary you could pick up a blu-ray drive, correct the subtitles, and then burn your own improved copy.

Doesn't fix the ****** video quality though! I boycotted Kaze a long time ago anyway. Last time I bought something from them was in mid 2013 (P4:A Part 3) which I've replaced with the better Sentai release. Their products are low quality and defective, thus not worth my time or money.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily include Gangsta in that list since everything to do with that show is cancelled at the moment. (BDs, CDs)

I know, but for those of us who can't afford the JP releases, it's better than nothing. Although I'm personally hoping Viz's US release isn't too awful and that Subatomic Digital go back into the hole they came from...

I most likely will get this sets for the OVAs but the two bandai shows I prefer GE and Gundam IBO doesn't have subs which is shame for God eater as no has the license

Your pals Aniplex of America have the GOD EATER licence (for both the US and UK), so you could just buy their release.

Look at them. LOOK AT THEM.

Wow Gantz in 3DCG is gonna be the BBFC & MPAA's worst nightmare! :D

I actually religiously read the manga week by week when it was coming out (up until the crazy delays then I lost interest) but I really enjoyed it. The original anime had so much potential they just made it too soon so there wasn't enough material, so everything was incredibly drawn out to fill till and it's a death sentence for it :(
