Are you referring to Infinite Statos 2 or So I can't Play H? as they both have OVA's that are not included.

Can't really blame MVM as they get what Sentai licence, but I do wonder if Sentai licence too quickly or with not enough scope. With IS2 I suppose there's a chance Sentai will acquire the OVA for the BD release in a few years time

To be honest, even though I did mention OreImo would get an 18 or just not pass with the BBFC if came over in a thread a while ago (Can't remember what thread, I think it was discussing Prison School so could be the Anime Ltd thread) in hindsight I thought the show would probably would get by with a 15 after thinking about it a bit more so I'm still fairly shocked.

@Buzz It's probably the incest or the Loli. I mean there is a focus on "Little" sister games IIRC.

Like Incendiary said there's a lot of eroge games referenced in the series. If you look closely in the first episode you can actually see School Days.

Game of Thrones had incestuous sex between brother and sister in it's first episode passed at a 15. Not implied sex, outright shown, with one of the two participants proceeding to throw a child out the window when he catches them at it. I doubt that's the issue.

Only the last quote seems majorly problematic.
 
I'm actually very surprised to see OreImo given an 18 certificate, considering that it's really not graphic at all despite its sketchy subject matter. I think far worse has passed through the BBFC with an uncut 15.
 
The BBFC have spoken before about their difficulties with fanservice or sexual content in anime because of how young the characters often are or appear to be. It's always seemed to me that it's been treated more harshly than live action. The second half of Penguindrum was rated 18 for an implied sexual assualt which I found more suprising than Oreimo's rating.

I wouldn't be too surprised, the BBFC say that sexual violence has to be brief and discreet to get passed at a 15. They do wrap themselves in knots about what is 15 and what isn't, they talked on their podcast about a huge internal debate they were having over the Pedro Almodóvar film The Skin I Live In. Which features a scene which may or may not be sexual violence depending on how you read it. If it had been read one way, it would be fine at a 15, if it had been read another way it might have gone to an 18. In the end they passed it at a 15, but it sounds like they did a lot of research on whether they were right to have passed it at that rating or not.

If it's massively out of keeping with the rest of the show, that would probably cause problems too, which sounds like it might have been the problem with Penguindrum.
