Bye all, no doubt this thread will live or die, i'm hoping that people still believe it is a place for them, that though i may post daily in here and for some part post mammoth posts knowing nobody will read, i hope that you see this place as an area to talk to each other and have a laugh.

Don't forget the anime subforums either, i myself have tried over the weeks to be more active on the forum as a whole :)

My buddy sent me an invite today, but I have very little motivation to sign up. Bear in mind that I have never and will never (barring some massive overhaul of how integral it becomes to my job or something) use Facebook, where is the incentive to use Google+?
 
It's like a mix between facebook and Twitter. It's a lot easier to ignore people's existence and I like the layout a lot better. I haven't signed into facebook for a couple of weeks now and I really do hate the thing - I like the interests/not obligated feel that Twitter has, and that seems to extend to Google+. Your call though.
 
I like Twitter a fair amount due to the ease of following people without having to have them follow you back or anything, or having to actually put any effort in yourself, so you've sold me on it a little more. Will be interesting to see what the uptake is like.

I had not realised how popular Hyadains OP for Nichijou was until I noticed some rather peculiar OP parody's posted on Youtube. Now looking at know your meme there's an awful lot more, some being quite side splitting. I've heard of Hyadain been known for remixes and I feel the first OP to Nichijou being quite splendid, but I didn't think it go this far

Is that talentless crap one of the parodies you mentioned? You mentioned parodies, but never whether this video was one. What is it poorly imitating?

1. It be pretty pointless posting a video that wasn't related in any shape or form to what I've been saying,
2. Go to Knowyourmeme.com, type in "Nichijou", become enlightened

Now I understand the meme, but not why you linked the least entertaining example possible of it. :(
 
I have returned.

Whilst i was in Cairo **** started kicking off again and APC's with some nice MG's on them came rolling down the main road of cairo and blocked off everything except tourist busses (not our beef so were fine)

Had a great time and just sad to be back, people at work have said "have you seen the rota.... your on call tonight" my reply? "Hell no, You can F*** right off"
