The General Conversation Area

mornin memo,

We went for that picnic with the lads, drinking pimms for a laugh (private joke) had about 3 of them, then walked into town. Had 7 pints in there, then the best mates gf won champagne in a dancing contest, but doesn't like it so passed it to me (of all people) and i ended up drinking half of it myself. Then a mate turned up (was strange to see him coz last i say he was touring with his band in berlin) and had more beers, more friends seemed to appear out of nowhere and more drinks where bought... in the end i don't really know how much i drank after the champagne.

Fuzzy feeling in my heads passed now, but stomach is yet to feel normal lol....

As my grandma says "variety is the spice of life" :p feeling pretty much normal now.

Weathers not bad today :) hows it where you are? Hopefully get the bbq out again and have another bbq weekend :D

Variety is indeed the spice of life, but I doubt she means in one entire night!

The weather is lovely down here, a bit of cloud here and there but it's mainly sunny, it's ludicrously bright out there at the moment 8)

 Maybe, but living life to the fullest is the way i want to go about it, go to alot more gigs and see bands i like, travel more, taste the foods of the world as their meant to be tasted (go to a country and have a real indian/italian/chinese ect ect)

:thumb: good stuff, hopefully the weekend will be great weather too :) at the moment there's a couple of small clouds but for the most part its blue skies.

Off to get some food for lunch, managed to stave off eating till now :p trying to cut down my intake of food now as i've managed to put the weight on that i needed to build on lol.

Hmmm beer battered fish n chips,

Wow, quiet in here over the weekend.

Had a great weekend, not going too much into it but i now own a straw hat lol dressed in jeans, trainers, jacket and LP tshirt. Got A thousand suns bonus dvd at the weekend, comes with the MTV live gig in madrid. In great moods and the temptation to work is.... well lacking right now lol i've gotta play the waiting game timm 1pm then i'm outta here!!!

AHHHHHHHHHH 30 mins till i finish work :D :D :D :D :D

i'm so tired right now its unbelievable, i actually haven't been this tired since the subfocus and pendulum gig where i got home and had 3 hours sleep before i had to wake up again to go to the expo.

Who? Me and the gf
Where? The Roundhouse in Camden, 2 mins walk from chalk farm.
When? Lastnight, doors where meant to open at 6.30, they opened at 7.15.
Who played? Neon Trees and Linkin Park.

Well, when we got there it was 3.30 and we decided that as the que was a handful of people, we can afford to go to sainsburys and get some food, we then joined the que and sat for a further 3 hours.... boring as hell! we finally got in and where given green bands and a itunes neck thing with a tag (im literally asleep as i type this)

Got in and i made a B line for the bar instantly, then we got ourselves to the stage, took a few pics and then found the right place to stand so we where close, but not in the area i presumed would become a pit. (i'd have loved to jump in but couldn't with the gf there)

Neon trees, a band i'd never heard before and judging from the rest of the crowd, neither had anyone else. Their music was preachy and the amount of times they made referrence to christ and things was making me think i'd got into the wrong venue and we'd ended up in some sort of "sister act" and to expect whoopie goldberg to hop out from the woodwork at any minute and have us all clapping and singing "oh happy days".

After about an hour gap between neon trees ("noone cares" as i've dubbed them) and Linkin Park. And bloody hell it was worth every minute.

Opening song was papercut and if that wasn't enough of an addrenaline rush for some people, then god knows what it'd take to get em moving, the whole place errupted in a flood of jumping, fist pumping fans. Linkin Park performed about 20 songs in total, managed to record about 6 of them before my phone decided it was dying. The mood was electric, everyone was jumping and singing along (yeah my voice... is shot to pieces today) I bought a tee because i just had to lol :p and even the gf enjoyed it. Especially when they'd played and come off stage, we chanted for an encore... and they delivered. Came back out and i said to the gf "whats the betting they play a song from another band?" then mike shinoda said "were gunna do something we don't usually do...... were gunna play a song from another artist" Now at this point i was stood there saying "PLEASE BE WISH, PLEASE BE WISH, PLEASE BE WISH, PLEASE DON'T PLAY ADELE" and mike said "she's actually a local girl from here" and i thought "****, its gunna be burning in the skies isn't it?" and yup. i was right. THough they added their own spin on it :p Chester still managed to get out a little scream to it haha. Much prefer their cover to that fat cows version.

They went on to do about 7-8 more songs as an encore, including crawling, in the end and no more sorrow (if i remember) they then finished on Bleed it out, with the last chorus being changed slightly, with mike rapping the lyrics from place for my head and chester following up with "you tried to take the best of me GO AWAY" before gapping the bridge and going back to Bleed it out hah.

Their comittment to the crowd is by far the best i've ever seen, they came down into the crowds (there was only about 300 people actually there, very close group so it was by far the best possible way to meet my favourite band. being literally feet away from the men who made the music that i spent years listening to, spent hours reading into and generally their music helped me take my mind off things when i needed it most.

Its meant to be shown on TV; Alexa Chung and Dave Berry will be keeping you up to date with the best of the iTunes Festival. Tune into ITV2 every Thursday and Friday from 7 July at 10 p.m. Watch highlights on ITV1 on 19 July, 26 July and 2 August.

So as i was in the first few of the que to get in, i should be on camera (they where filming when i was stood there like a lemon talking to the gf lol typical)

Now i've crossed that off my "to do list", i have about 2-3 more things to do before i can die at any moment in life and be able to say "yeah, i'm fine with this, i did what i wanted to do before this happened" lol. F**king beaten down right now and may need energy bars to carry me through the day.

Btw, getting more tattoo's done when i get back from holiday WHICH IS NEXT WEEK, LITERALLY THIS TIME NEXT WEEK I'LL BE ON A PLANE AND YOU GUYS CAN THINK "THANK F*** HE'S GONE"

Undecided if i should get the LP Soldier tattoo'd on my leg, or just the newer LP. I actually did the Hybrid theory soldier for my gcse art exam, the examiners loved it according to my teacher. (kept some of my artwork on the walls of the school up until last year.... so 4 years of my artwork, which aslo had kakashi from naruto and other characters from other shows in it)

Ok fellows I'm back from my holiday at Dawlish, though I stayed an extra weekend I hope nobody missed me to much.

I spent my time wisely (on Clannad)

I'll keep ya company, ya whiny lil' maggot. ;)

Summer is the death of me... Too hot, pollen's a bitch and I'm covering everyone else's shifts as they fly out to Cyprus and the likes...

lol cheers chazzy chaz. less of the maggot ;)

What tablets do you take for the hayfever? I found out that i have to use citrezine hydrocloride because the lotradine ones never worked. The other day the pollen count was so bad i took 4 tables over the course of the day and only on the 4th one did it actually start working. Was mental!

How's things apart from work obligations anyway?

Hopefully well.

Pills... PILLS!!! You woos! I just take a pack of tissues with me and after the odd spell of sneezing, I'm fine again. For a bakery, I have to leg it out the area to do so, but I dont care.

Work itself is good atm. Been training up some trainees for another store and all the regular staff become jealous of the attention I give to them. :p Been annoying trying to organize meet-up with mates because of different shifts and all. But no complaints, so I'm happy.

Good thing though is I'm going to listen to a band in the local area's pub. Should be awesome, as I've heard them before:

Trying to sort out a "maybe" holiday in the winter. I need it just be be able to experience that thing for myself. You know, organizing stuff, what it's like when you get there and such. There's some cheep ones going to Guernsey, so it's not far from home either in case of emergencies.

Ahh, now i don't have to take them unless the pollen count is high :p anything less than high and i don't have a problem. the other day it was very high and i was like a dying fly.

Good to hear works going alright :) i didn't know you worked ina bakery?! :O custard donuts this way please, willing to pay the postage :p

I'm now a training admin/trainer. Every week i get a afternoon of training i have to deliver to a group, they've increased it to one group in the morning and one in the afternoon, messes up my 1.30 lunch break but not too much of a problem considering i enjoy it. Had a woman yesterday who was driving me up the walls on the inside but had to bite my lip, grin and bear with it. She passed the exam at the end though, so far i've only ever had 2 fail :) over 12 weeks of training thats not too bad.

Loval bands are great to go see :) i had the chance to see enter shikari in a local pub before they "made it" shoulda gone, now that i look back on it it was a free gig lol.

Trying to sort out a holiday is fun stuff, but also a headache too so i know where your coming from. me and the gf bit the bullet and went on holiday last year, was the first time either of us had gone without our parents, first time going together and first time at having to sort it all out ourselves (previously i'd just given my mum the money and she sorted the rest lol) We put our passport details into the thomas cook website lastnight, got our insurance and details sorted, hotel booked for monday (as were flying from gatwick its cheaper to stay overnight in a travellodge) Looking forward to it, going to a place i've been to before and thoroughly enjoyed (3rd floor there's a 24 hour bar haha)

I hope you get chance to see your mates abit more too, hell i know its difficult enough organising things sometimes. in the end i said every thursday is lads night. That was when we where 16.... and every time their back from uni, we honour the lads night lol. Tomorrow is nandos, then onto the local to play pool and have a laugh :)

Haha, you wouldn't make it a a driving examiner then. ;) A fail every 10 mins.

If you had prior knowledge, I did have some shortbread wheels I made at home... but they're all gone now. Most of the stuff I do is pick stuff up and throw into an oven, so not much skill there really. That's why i had a go of it for myself at home.

Ryo complains that I see one person more commonly at this moment of time. Questioning my sexuality (or my mate's), so I end up pissing him off by trying to hug him. XD
I generally listen to convos rather than start them, but I try. Just mine topics are quite generic at times (How are you?/What'cha been up to?/Did such and such...?). But last friday I had him and another mate over and spent the night drinking (not much either!), eating pizza and playing on the PS3. Which led to me needing to buy a new multi-HMMI station, but they were cheap to buy at the time, and have just recieved them.
All-in-all a good night in.

lol i wish i was a driving examiner, that way i'd be drive myself. Failed the last one due to my own idiocy :/ the 2 times before that though, where the examiner failing me for wrong reasons and i'm in the middle of sorting it out with them.

Shortbreads really good, tasts great :) and Ryo - the homophobe lol. Good to hear you've had a lads nights of sorts lol. Pizza, beer and a games console, you really can't go wrong with nights like that. Hoping the weather gets better so i can host another bbq, rather like cooking but usually lack the time, food and a place to cook lol.

Chips for lunch, i decided at the weekend to buy some Mayo for my chips, rather than pay 20p per satchet for mayo. Also bought new t shirts for the holiday (wearing one right now... so i have an excuse to wear and wash it and make sure the dye doesn't run when i wash em abroad :p )

Sometimes it can be to hot tachi to have a computer running, drying out the atmosphere in a room with this muggy heat. As for now I feel my brains slowly melting with each word I type.

That would be a lot worse in theory if you have 20 PC in one small area as well... Although I wouldn't of thought it'd be that bad, unless you're on a higher floor of which catches all the heat rising.
