Welcome back Tach. I had partly the same trouble as you when i got back. Day or so after i got back from the US, i was put on 40+ hours for the week, and i raged. What a great way to deal with Jet Lag, eh. So long as you enjoyed yourself though, all is well.
 
Thanks for the welcome back Arby, i need a couple of ibuprofen badly, got a headache but hopefully its partly dehydration and these bottles of tango can fix it.

Told em i'm not doing on call at all now and they've just shot themselves in the feet. Was a nice sight to see their faces so shocked.

Kept opening my wallet and finding hundreds of pounds in there... they realising thats egyptian money so 1 english = 10 egyptian
 
lol thanks, i've done nothing but drink water in the daylight hours for 2 weeks :p topped up with alcoholic drinks every evening, they say that planes dehydrate you and i think because my room is a complete tip at the moment (due to unpacking) it resulted in having a bad nights sleep. not to worry though :)

Wanna get home and start disc 4 of soul eater. it left off the 3rd disc pretty well and im hoping for a good few fights.

what are people watching atm?

As for what I'm currently watching,
Sora No Wota (Sound of the Sky) - watched eps 1 & 2 of the R1 version
Gungrave - watched episodes 1 & 2 of the Region A blu-ray
D.Gray-man - part way through disc 3 of the complete collection.

Good to see you enjoying Soul Eater (I am expecting the Part 3 & 4 blu-ray collection anytime now from Planetaxel).

I've been meaning to pick up gungrave for a while now, as of yet i'm not able to spare the cash but here's hoping next month is kinder on the wallet lol.

I'm surprised you're still collecting the singles releases. It was £25 in HMV a few weeks back to buy the complete series. Im unsure if thats still the case but its a good deal to consider.

Still have alot on the backburner to finish off, just trying to find the time for them all.
 
I'm still watching Hanasaku Iroha and Nichijou as well as catching up on some Naruto Ship, cause lets face it the shows airing this summer are tripe

I take it you are referring to Soul Eater - I'm not collecting the singles but the Region A blu-rays.

I already own & have watched Part 1 & 2 (I already had at the time of the Manga sales) and Part 3 & 4 which is in the post.
 
@Mangaman, Ahh fair enough. Personally i'm not too sure if buying Blu ray anime differs in quality at all, if its a significant difference i maybe swayed towards buying it instead. Can you drop your opinion on the matter?

Hey Mono :) thanks to you too, went out for a meal to an italian lastnight (with the gf and her parents for her birthday meal) ordered a scottish serloin steak served in black peppercorn and brandy sauce. Usually tastes very nice (from other places) but the sauce ruined the steak completely. On the plus side there was enough other food to eat instead :)

Friday, and in true form all of my plans for the weekend have decided to jumble around further. May go to the cinema and watch harry potter tonight, can't wait to finish that off :)

halfway through disc 4 of soul eater, im going through this at a nice pace but have this feeling that i'm going to be gutted when i finish it off :( i may need to carry on with the manga of it. (and on that note i've just remembered im 3 weeks behind on my naruto and bleach :O )

Caught up now and enjoyed the catch up. The fights in naruto rarely fail me, even when they go into flashback mode its good to get more back history. Im impressed with the Gaara and his father fight so far, flashback helped build further on the fight and the powers they both have it's looking to be a good fight. Naruto and Bee vs Nagato and Itachi looks like it will be a short fight that does little towards the story bar proving (when it doesn't need to) just how far naruto has advanced and stall his "epic arrival to the real fight". I just wonder what his fight will be like, its fair to say that Sasuke will appear in the middle of it and probably die. He has had nothing to build upon in the long time he's been out of the manga. So i do see abit of "my new super technique!!!" obviousness coming into that fight.

As for Bleach, that last cliff hanger had me thinking "just what the hell is going on" Ginjo is a traitor?! just whats going on?? please don't tell me its a hollywood moment and he'll wake up in a few chapters and its all a dream or something. What was the point in showing ichigo's father with hat and cloggs? they haven't exactly made a grand entrance (possibly just blown the storyline for next weeks volume out of the water) But hopefully it'll go well.

oh and as i'm pretty much mammothing this out, i have news... i maybe being promoted into the higher parts of HR :) a new job, more money and new location, less time travelling to work and generally a happier me :)
