cheers for the welcome backs
Although i haven't had chance with organising my camera and all the pics of the holiday i shall sit down and get it sorted tonight, ready to upload a few tomorrow.
@Zin5ki: I know what your on about. in many of the tourist spots (at the pyramids they went crazy) the locals went crazy for tourists, you walk down the road and every single shop owner beckons you to look at their shop. every taxi beeps its horn as it goes past you. 2 days in ciaro is enough to knock you out for a week easily.....from hurghada where we where, we had a 6 hour coach ride to cairo, herded round the museum of ancient egypt, its crowded, hot and the air is dry....people fell due to heat strokes and dehydration. taken to other places and our tour guide must live in a volcano somewhere because the locals where staying out of the sun and there was our tour guide walking about as if it was 20 degrees, don't think i saw him break a sweat once.
Went on a few day trips on boats, snorkling and scuba diving in the red sea, the sharks out there are abit too friendly...coming across to say hello, face to face. the boat owner said that he has never been afraid of the normal sharks but the hammerhead is a different matter completely, so i decided to stay on the boat for most of it
which ended up with me burning my knees and feet.....the shins and thighs where still white and the rest where bright red and angry lol.
Had a 24 hour bar on the floor below my room so on an evening i didn't have to venture too far for a drink, my family where eaten to death my mosquitos.....they don't like armani or lacoste so didn't bother with me.....although minutes from getting off the plane a mozzi used my ear as a buffet ¬_¬
The holiday was great and the weather was lovely. but i think that this is the last time i'll head to egypt. last year when we went to El Gaunna we met other people and the holiday was excellent, this year we got talking to some other english people but nobody between the ages of 17-25 so i felt abit bored.
i liked the conversion of money though....one british pound = roughly 8 egyptian pounds (last year it was 1 = 10 but with the economic climate where in the british quid is worth less)
