Back to the grind for another year. I worked over Christmas (bar Christmas day and boxing day) as I had a tonne of stuff to get through at work, but I had some days off after the new year and am now back to work properly today.
I have a hybrid working pattern between home and the offices, which is a nice balance. Last year, I reached another milestone for length of service at my workplace, which means I get an extra few days leave every year
I also got a pay increase at the end of last year that will help with my home (more shelves maybe
), and of course, my physical media collecting. It also helps that I have no partner or children to worry about.
Here's to another year of paying taxes and making rich people richer.
