Hi all! :)
Gosh Tachi... I've not had anything that bad from just a night's sleep. (Although There was the dentist issue and a huge swollen cheek thing...) Only problem I've had is going to sleep and my lower back's aching (from positioning, I think).
 
looked on the nhsdirect website.....5 days to reply to email service. and the problem i have with call centres: i don't want to sit talking to some person about how i'm feeling. for them to just get confused with the symptoms and the next thing i know i'm down the hospital.

its like a tension headache. just to the right hand side of the temple on the right side of my face really hurts. my eye hurts and now the other sides starting to ache because of the trapped nerve on the left side of the back of my neck.

might head to the doctors tomorrow morning.
 
Yeah, get it checked on a.s.a.p. Doctors have a habbit of making you wait - long lines, going through "red tape," taking their merry-little time and then holding you up with lack of information/double checking/misinformed etc... (I've never had a frend that's a doctor... but that's obvious.) :p

I dunno... I dont wanna replace my arms, as I may need them to "feel out" the clay when I want to further my career. You cant do that with metal/prosthetic limbs. Maybe replace my teeth, as they're going that direction anyways.

I'd go the download of consciousness into a completely new body route, if it became available, rather than replacing it a bit at a time. I'd take regular maintenance over biological health problems any day.

I kinda wish I had a brain which could understand robotics (and maths... and physics) sometimes. I imagine I'd be pretty driven to help with the creation of all this stuff. Like any modern scientific or engineering project, cybernetics is progressing too slowly. Honestly, ten years to build the ITER fusion reactor? How can it possibly take so long? If it takes so long to build the parts, then get more people building more machines and facilities to build the parts faster. Get the Chinese in, they'll have it up and running in a month (and that's why the 21st Century will belong to them).

Well, it'd certainly produce results. The politics involved would be a little sticky though.
 
Bah. This is about the advancement of the human race Zin5ki! Politics is what's fouling it up in the first place. Don't even get me started on the space programme... Yes, let's go back to the Moon again in 2020 using outdated rockets for no particular reason. What we need is to get a successor to projects Orion, Daedalus and Longshot up and running. Nuclear Pulse Propulsion which can accelerate to more than 10% of the speed of light would get us places.
 
I'm now depressed. :( (Not that bad really...)
I knew phones were a nusience, but I didn't know it would be "the death of me." I was doing so well on Valkyria Chronicles, on the mission at Mayberry beach (with lots of gattling bunkers). I've captured all the bases bar one (there's 3 enemy bases altogether) and I had just dispensed myself of the main threat (2 big tanks)...

Sounds good atm, right? Nout could go wrong if I stuck to the plan I had...
I had 3 phone calls ALL the way through that last 10/20 mins, putting me off my game, and not only did they recapture a base, they've completely taken out my forward strike force (of which Dallas and Hector have now flat-lined)... Off switch!

My horoscope did say it's going to be a testy time for myself... Gotta keep being cheery though. (Only a game)

just been doing some sanding this morning and keeping busy in general. just doing my bedroom door, frame and architrave so i can repaint it a white. the other stuff was like bubble gum on there it just peeled of.

well just typing this while having a light lunch, until i go back to clean up and wot not

I see - this college / uni thing confuses me. University for me was always the collection of colleges. I hope one day I understand all this 2:1 thing as well as they some employers requires this things.
 
there's a ratio to education??

anyhow college is way different to university standards, in terms of better facilities then secondary school, but crapper then uni's. Plus you don't have to pay education till your 19 and over

As for me...my eye is fine....i still have the trapped nerve in my neck and the headache....but its bearable. thanks for the email lastnight chaos....i keep meaning to head down but this month i'm completely booked up on weekends. and my "sis" wants me to go see her soon.... since when was august the month of urgency?? :lol:

Tonight i'm going to tidy up my room, then play some more rock band, try to finish metallica's "battery" on hard mode so i can unlock the bloody song....so far i get 3/4's through it and then i get all fingers and thumbs and screw it up lol. considering singing it, it'll be a damnsite easier. then eating, maybe going out for an hour or two round bens, or just heading off to bed as i'm tired.

Ah, no... he mentioned it some time ago, but it's a service that lets you invite or be invited to other people's houses to stay there for a bit, I think. Like a new way to meet lots of people quickly and see if you can become friends etc, except you're helping them out or visa versa in terms of lodging.

Am I right, Chaos?
