i should be online abit more in future...after being informed that there's a load of pics of me thats been uploaded over the past weeks i decided that i'll show more attention to msn whilst i'm at it lol.
Hehe. At least your only problem is legs peeling. I've been in and out of hospital a lot since you've been gone which is no fun. I've got 2 more visits coming up too- one i've gotta go under general too =/
We live on though!
Can't wait for em all to be over, and, i'll probably hate it by December but, i'm quite looking forward to starting College.

Despite it's reputation for being unfriendly, Paris was WAY better than rome. The fact I tried to speak french and that I don't look american might have helped =)
Louvre is a magical place. Deserves another visit from me, maybe with a guide so I can hear the stories (although, whenever something interested me, I've joined the guided tours. At some point I was following some spanish excursion.

Hmm....the french are similar to any country really....you'll come across some that are helpful and nice and then you'll come across some of the unpolite, arrogant and wasteful people.
Kayleigh spent a week in france whilst i was in egypt and the locals where horrible apparently... but then again the french and the english never really get on....:lol:
noticed something whilst i was on holiday....the russians are so wasteful...they go up to the buffet, take 5 or 6 platefuls of food, put it on their table and then all pick bits from it......now thats okay i guess, i personally questioned "why not just be normal and go get your own meal for yourself" but i guess i'm not special enough to understand their reasoning..... what really annoyed me was that they'd do that and then eat quarter of the amount of food they'd amassed to their table.....then sod off. its such a waste of food. and the only reasoning i could put with it is that their just greedy....they take as much as possible just so nobody else can eat it.
the chinese are abit weirder.....they go up and similarly get plate loads for the group and not for the individual.....but they get one piece of everything and each eat abit of it.....okay their not wasting as much as the russians but its still pretty weird....and to top it off they mustn't know what order normal people eat in, as i saw them all eating deserts with one fork and in the other hand a main course. they'd eat one bit of each alternating between em.
its at times like that that you think "am i the one thats eating in the wrong way and order?"

Yeah, I believe that's the case. I've approached then in french, then told them I was no good with french and asked if they speak spanish or portuguese. There was a guy in a restaurant that started speaking japanese with my mum (she actually speaks a bit of it, much better than I do, at least). English was the alst resource, but I could communicate well enough.Tachi- said:

Unless you weren't able to communicate at all in French, it would have been politer of them to allow you to continue in such a language. Albeit perhaps at the expense of clarity, acknowledging the customer's effort is appreciated.chaos said:

I understand what you mean, but in their defense, most people there spoke another language. Something you can expect from Londoners, but not from the rest of the UK.Zin5ki said:
WRT to the attitude, I had problems in burger king, MacD and other fast food stablishments where they put people that can barely understand english and said people are simply nods and dont'get what you asked for. I particularly like when I only noticed I've got the wrong order when I'm back at the office and cba going back.

If you do dribble, it could be bellspalsy by the sound of it. It's caused by stress though.

the only stress i'm getting is off the parents...constantly complaining for one reason or another....mainly the times i've been coming home.
I've had this headache since yesterday but it was mild. i shrugged it off.
but the trapped nerve in my neck is uncomfortable and i think my face has swollen because of the eye hurting.
