I won't pretend that I'm surprised that CG got himself banned, because I thought it would probably happen eventually. I just always thought I would get banned before him.

Anyway, my landlord called me yesterday asking if it's ok to send someone here at my flat because someone complained an alarm went off here.

First thing that crossed my mind is that I've forgot something turned on and it caused a fire, but in the end it was just that I forgot to turn my alarm clock off before leaving.

For ten days, my alarm clock was going off at 5am. My neightbours must love me... =P

LMAO chaos. I'm surprised no-one was sent round to mine after I chiseled one side of the doorframe off the other week when I locked myself out. I put it back but it's... pretty noticable. Nothing a coat of paint won't fix, and it was quicker and cheaper than a locksmith. Where are you now anyway?
 
@Ayase - I'm back in London, but I'll have another week off work ahead of me, where I plan to go sightseeing with my mum around...

I appear to have been Banned from MyAnimeList

Whats annoying is, the IP address they're reffering to... is not mine. It begins with 10. for a start, and i'm in the UK :lol:
 
Same here. I have a suspicion this may be of national importance, especially since I'm not actually logged on when it informs me I've been banned.

Let's all go to Westminster and voice our disgruntlement!

Just checked and I am banned too, which is interesting as all I've ever used it for is to send one private message. Also the silly IP which isn't mine (or in fact anyone's). I think they made a rather large "oops" and it will clear when someone tells them.

Well, that answers my none-mentioned question to "should I bother signing up to MyAnimeList?"... Was curious before... But not now.

Is it worth doing? I mean apart from boasting and keeping record of the anime/manga you have etc, does it have any other value?
(Although it may sound sarcastic, I am actually asking a serious question.)

Well it means we can snoop at what your watching instead of saying inquiring all the time ^^
 
plus you can keep a track on yourself, and the "plan to watch" segment is handy just in case 2 months down the line your not sure what to watch.

plus it can give you some recommendations to what you like

It has a rather tidy feature. When you view another person's profile, it gives you a 'compatibility' score: It compares the ratings you have submitted to those given by said other person, as regards shared titles. It returns the correlation between the two sets of ratings as a percentage, allowing one to see how one's tastes compare, and perhaps thereby also track down some series you're likely to enjoy.
