The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

It's the costs the company advertises rather than the actual cost.

For example a DVD sent from the US-UK with delivery confirmation is around $12

The equivalent UK-US service is £9.25 or a little over $12
 
I'm now able to get stuff online so I figured I'll place an order through Amazon Canada.

That's two down from my list of Funi LEs I only want to get.

How is Amazon Canada for shipping/handling? I am a bit against using Amazon US as their packaging is quite poor. Is CA the same?

We'll find out soon enough. Canada sets arrive faster than US so I'll receive mine before the end of the week.

I also checked the prices for the two shows on US, I saved quite a fair bit.

I've had mixed experiences with Amazon.CA

When I bought the Pokemon Movie Steelbook it arrived in just two days and without customs.

When I bought the Pokemon Season DVD sets it took two weeks and I had to deal with UPS Customs charges which are worse than the post office i.e higher handling fee, no way to pay charge online, pay by cash but don't expect them to have change.

I wasn't a big fan when this first aired (I didn't watch it/passed on it), but recently read some of the manga and actually enjoyed the world so grabbed this off amazon at £39

I went to town to fix my bus pass for university, and popped into HMV

Black Butler Seasons 1 & 2 [DVD]
Nura Rise of the Yokai Clan Series 1 Part 1 [DVD]

Saw Black Butler season 1 for a good price, and picked up season 2 since why not have both.
I like Nura, and it was decently priced for the part, and I'll be keeping an eye out for the other half now.
