The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

I pre-ordered Attack on Titan Vol. 17 SE with OVA episode Ilse's Notebook, before I forget and it sells out. I'm hoping it'll be the same as the US disc and it won't have PAL speed-up or anything. Both ISBNs match, but I'd be surprised if Kodansha let Kodansha Comics USA release a region free disc.


I suppose I just have to hope there's enough copies going spare for me to pick up a US copy if it is sped up. If there isn't, I wouldn't feel too guilty about using other sources. (Not that I'm 100% convinced I'll be able to tell.)

Just ordered the Aniplex of America Kill La Kill sets from UP1USA. That just leaves Bakemonogatari, Persona 4 Golden the Animation, Valvrave the Liberator, The Irregular at Magic Highschool and Garden of Sinners recalled out summer sets to collect (out of the sets still in print/available). I will be getting the JP LE set of Kara no Kyoukai and Gurren Lagann JP LE set both used at some point.

Gonna be getting some new shelves next week to help store these new sets I'll be getting

That just leaves Bakemonogatari, Persona 4 Golden the Animation, Valvrave the Liberator, The Irregular at Magic Highschool and Garden of Sinners recalled out summer sets to collect (out of the sets still in print/available). I will be getting the JP LE set of Kara no Kyoukai and Gurren Lagann JP LE set both used at some point.

Considering my current state I'm forcing myself to only get certain shows from Aniplex (Fate/Monogatari/SAO + Oreimo & Irregular whenever) and have the rest from Anime Ltd if licensed (i.e. Aldnoah Zero & Durarara!!x2). Andrew & Jeremy better get Your lie in April.

Anywho as for Kyoto Ani shows, I'll be amazed if you manage to get Lucky Star (Eng Dub + Sub for all episodes, minus OVA).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the only Kyoani shows with subs are re-releases of older titles. Off the top of my head I know of Haruhi (dub+sub), Lucky Star (dub+sub) and Clannad (sub). No other titles after that have subs I believe.

both K-On seasons have subs as well, the BD boxes are really nice as well. The Haruhi and Lucky star ones are kinda plain - just a box with amarays inside. I believe the Clannad sets are quite nice though.
