Not to give false hope to you or anyone who has ordered from rightstuf recently. But I thought I'd share the this picture of my recently received box of goodies from Rightstuf which contained well over the £18 customs limit

As you can see it says freight terms: prepaid and a nice little note from what I like to think is UK customs 'N/A Nill'

There is a packing note inside the package with your address, item number, item description and quantity. No Price on the piece of paper at all.

I wonder if my other packages from them that are coming will be the same. (I've kinda been sucked into their sale far more than I'd like to admit)
 
It will be OK, until you get a customs agent decide to look up the price of the goods on the interweb and decide to charge you VAT on the full retail price. Or pulls a random figure out of thin air to charge, or worst decides to put a seizure notice on the goods

OH MY GOD *JoJo voice*

Well the good news is that Rightstuf are working on a solution for Europe which is estimated for early 2016 at the earliest (could end up in Summer but who knows). Honestly if I were going to make an bunch of orders through Rightstuf I would make them separate.
 
I've been pretty lucky with customs over the years, only been charged a handful of times for what I've ordered.

I've never had anything seized or charged unreasonable amounts. If I did, I'd argue the toss out of it, especially if it's the retailers fault.

Still it's probably good advice to only order a few at a time and aim to keep the shipping low just in case.

Thanks for the info Morbo86. In fact there are two packages underway from TRSI, one with two orders which i split to avoid customs, but which TRSI threw together and shipped. Second one is Highschool of the Dead CE so i expect custom charges here.

Will report back once i receive the packages, on how it went for me.

Would also love to order the Patlabor TV Series

Someone help me, I've spend around £200 over the last week on anime, I think it's because Christmas is round the corner and I know i'm not getting any proper presents!

Well, this wasn't my plan when I went on Amazon.co.jp but I saw Box I was down to 8100yen and box II was around 10800yen so decided to get them when they were discounted. I was planning on ordering the first 2 Persona 3 movie LEs and Akito the Exiled Vol.4 LE before I noticed them, but with Full Metal Panic Ultimate Edition, those will have to wait until next week now.
 
Nice find. I really need to look more closely at that sale, there are a couple of things there that I have always meant to pick up on BD but never got around to.

Where did you get it from and how much was it? I'd kind of like to get the show but the Standard Edition isn't as region compatible as the Premium Edition (plus, books and stuff).
