Post a photo of your entire anime collection!

That MVM Garden of Sinners set is very nice isn't it.

Some great Manga there as well - All You Need is Kill, AoT, Beck, Monster....droooool! :D

thank you all! actually I havent been totally away, just a bit busy with some other stuff but I do still buy anime and manga of course :)

Actually just ordered on Monday more manga, Monster vol 4 and 5, Tokyo Ghoul 1 and Attack on Titan 15. :D

Small is good, small is manageable

As some others said before here in this thread, one has to start somewhere. So we all started small, and you already have some nice stuff there like the Kill la Kill, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, Gurren Lagann, ...

On a side note, really hope to post an update of my collection by the end of this week, unfortunately it takes longer than planned. In fact right now the room where my cabinets are is infested with a wasp's nest in the ceiling  so that got to get cleared out first, and fast :)

Nothing special but here it is.

Very nice collection, part of me likes the multiple small sections created by the thin but tall bookcases(?), but another part of me is annoyed that more could be done with the space by having a larger single bookcase, probably another 8-10 books per row.

Okay, high time for a photo update of my anime collection. Previous, and first ever, post about my collection can be found here;

Collection photo, January 17th 2015

My initial thought was to post an update every six month, but sometimes good intentions get postponed, so instead of July, it's the end of August

First thing that some might notice is that my cabinets have changed, the old cabinets have moved upstairs, so i can finally give my English football books a place again. The only one remaining is the corner cabinet, but this one will also move later on.

Two photos of the closed and open state of the new cabinets coming from a, not-to-be-named Swedish company :)

And detail photos of the corner cabinet, containing various books regarding film and anime and also the 3 figures i have, and finally the Macross Frontier 30th d Shudista b BOX.
What the books are concerned, i'm especially proud of my signed by Franco Nero copy of Any Gun Can Play copy.
Also the Art of... Ghibli titles are very nice to browse through.

Nice! Cupboards / shelving fitting flush to the wall is a must for me so good to see that too. As a fellow Funi LE enthusiast, I have to ask... Are you aiming to get the whole "set"?

That's far too organised for my liking XD Mines either in stacks on the floor or in boxes in my wardrobe as i just don't have enough shelf space (as my manga takes up all my shelf space)

I figured I might as well comment on here. Great collections everyone, those shelves look very nice against the wall.

I might as well pop in on this question. I was planning on going for every single one of them currently available but I decided to give up as they keep on coming each time. The Premium/Collector sets to me have felt very disappointing so I'll only go for certain sets if they suit me (which is why I only plan on getting the LE ver. to Fullmetal Alchemist and Tokyo Ghoul because the CEs aren't to my liking). I still plan on getting the sets that I have yet to pickup like Appleseed XIII and Noragami but some titles like Aquarion EVOL I'll stick to complete sets for pricing reasons. And yes I will try and get Danganronpa and Noein.

Interesting enough though I could have possibly gotten every single one of them already but I decided to go after Aniplex as well, I don't regret it (though I was stupid enough to underestimate how long Fairy Dance arc would last in terms of stock).

Oh, congrats Gemsy for reaching 1000 posts. :thumb:

Thanks all, for the compliments.

Thanks, What the FUNimation LE's are concerned, seems i'm already moving in that direction :) , but not all costs, as some are just too expensive second-hand. But if a bargain pops up i can't resist it.

How many years did that take to build up.

Two years

Nice collection. Why won't you share the name of the swedish company? Is it ikea? Lol

Off course it is Billy series to be exact, way too popular to be unique :) Was nice to see the development between my old ones and these new series. The joints for putting them together has changed and also the back board, used to be in two parts and now is in one. The shelves themselves also feel they have more weight to them, so bending should be less of an issue.

The old corner cabinet you can see in the photos is no longer in the Billy series, which is a shame.

:D Guess that's advantage i have in that i don't have any manga, not one single copy.
