Post a photo of your entire anime collection!

After a few recent acquisitions I'm now up to two shelves of funimation LE's so thought It was a good point to take an updated shot.

I'm currently in the process of building some more shelves so if all goes well in a few days I'll be able to post a photo with everything in one shot.

30 Funimation LEs, you're almost catching up with the amount I have heh (35 BD sized, 5 DVD sized, 2 Attack on Titan LEs (Part 1 & 2) = 42).

The ones I'm missing based on your collection are Appleseed XIII, Cat Planet Cuties, Code:Breaker, Freezing S1 & 2, Karneval and We Without Wings.

My dvd size LE's aren't in that picture. Although I've only got 3 of them - Sekirei. Baka + Test S2 and Darker than Black S2. Only LE I've got on pre-order at the moment is noragami.

Boooooo work for banning whatever you lot use to show your photos as I can't see a single one! hehe.

Question, what do you lot use for your anime?

I have this CD rack that can actually store dvds too as you just increase the side of the gaps in each shelf. I'm considering binning/storing my CDs and putting them there so I can see all the pretties as atm, they take up 2 rows on 1 shelf of my bookshelf with some also lay on top *shudders* I had to re-sort them all on Saturday after a huge messup of them all and not sorting new ones etc. Also, with my number of other dvds; films and series, it's way too impractical to let them be one row and more than one shelf on my bookshelf.

I just use an old bookshelf for now. Ideally I'd like another shelf as at the moment I only have the one so all my Anime and non Anime DVDs and Blu Rays are on the same shelf and I'd like to separate them out. Unfortunately, I don't really have the space.

I've just got boxes (generally spare Amazon ones with some plastic ones that hold most of my manga), mostly in corners with a little space between so I can access most of them (a few take some effort to get to, though they mostly contain DVD versions of things I have on Blu-ray or other things I'm less likely to need). I don't really have a good space for display, I suppose technically I could probably set up a more efficient bookshelf or similar. The original plan was that I'd just keep them in boxes temporarily until I could get proper storage sorted out but my collection grew quite fast and it'd be a pretty big job to move them. I'm not sure it's worth the effort of getting proper storage/display space since I might have to rearrange things again in the future and not many people would see them in the only place I could put them at the moment anyway.

My anime collection is kinda small tbh and all my anime is just mixed in with my other BD/DVDs (much to the annoyance of my friends who think it's strange, while I find it odd to have special shelves for your cartoons but hey, different strokes lol) so mine are all on the shelves of my TV stand and the extra shelving thingy I bought to increase the space on the cheap. I have these...

Maybe gonna buy another of the shelve add on soon as they are pretty cheap.

May take a couple of pictures of my collection later, but it's pretty lacking compared to the ones others have posted that's for sure lol not been buying anime for all that long though.

Built my shelves myself from scratch. Actually now highly recommend doing this as it allows you to size them perfectly. Below is a shot of the whole set of shelves at the moment. You can see a lot of my anime in with the rest of the BR's which gives it some context... As you can see I am currently stacking on the top so I plan to build a new set of shelves over the next couple of days and I'll split my anime from the rest of my BR's.

It isn't perfect but suits me pretty well.

Great collection there msgeek, really nice shelves too. I wish i had some of that quality. My anime is just on a bookshelf that got from down the car boot a few years but it's quite cheap so i hope to get a bigger, sturder and better quality one at some point. I have something similar to buzz's TV stand downstairs for my movie/game room, i got it from ikea, one of the things i don't like about it is the "box" shelves in it. It means i have to double row my films which i don't like as sometimes i forget what i have

It's been a long day, but finally the additional shelves have been built. Now my "to watch" anime BR's (generally horizontal except some LE's) can live in the same place as the rest of my anime BR's , and it's all separated from my regular BR's. Order is not 100% decided on yet but currently it's looking like the below pic.

Are the top three shelves all "to watch" or just the ones on their side? I wonder how big my pile would look if I arranged it physically like that, probably best not to know.

Just the ones on their sides (the 3 Blu-Ray sized LE's on their sides on the top shelf are half watched). You may just be able to make out that the LE shelf goes A-Z twice. The left hand A-Z is watched the right hand A-Z is "to watch."

"to watch" in my case refers to the disks rather than the Anime - in a lot of cases I'll have seen the anime but just not watched those physical disks.

I'm hoping it will start looking a lot tidier once I have worked my way through a fair few more series once most start standing vertical.

So, I'm moving house fairly shortly, so that means I've started packing stuff away into boxes. Tomorrow I plan on packing my Anime collection away, so I thought now might be a good time to post an update on my collection before I put it all away. The last time I posted here was on the 5th of April, the day I joined, so about 5 months ago almost. Here are the images of my collection that I posted then:

I'm still convinced I have the smallest collection out of all the active users here, but it's growing. Slowly, but surely. Also, I have K-On Season 2 blu rays and Nichijo and Azumanga Daioh box sets coming in the post, but they'll be going straight into boxes, so just imagine they're there. I may update when I have moved to show all that stuff too.
