Rather random place to put but heck.

I decided to compare the prices between Amazon US and Canada regarding Code Geass Seasons 1 & 2 Collector's Edition. And here's the results:

US:
Item Price: $139.98 -> £106.10
P&P: $7.98 -> £6.05
Charges: $29.59 -> £22.43 [Pre-paid 20% VAT]
Bank Charges/Currency Fluctuation: £3
= £137.58

CA:
Item Price: CAN$114.99 -> £66.13
P&P: CAN$15.98 -> £9.19
Charges: £13.22 [20% VAT] + £11 [Mail Charge]
Bank Charges/Currency Fluctuation: £2
= £101.54

Since CA doesn't offer AmazonGlobal I also estimated the custom charges for anyone curious. £11 applies to UPS while Royal Mail is £8.
 
It's unclear who will be releasing it, but beatthebomb have listed Cowboy Bebop: the movie [Expected release 5/10/2016] on Blu-ray. Useful for those interested in a region B release. As Metropolis is being released in the UK via Eureka Entertainment, hopefully that means we will also see Tokyo Godfathers soon!

At under £15 including shipping, it'd be nice if @anime_andrew could announce a nice collector's edition that matches the series CEs soon, as I expect a few of us are ready to pounce at a region B Cowboy Bebop movie bluray.

Yeah I agree that it would be nice to know, I know Andrew mentioned a while back something about progress being made on that front but if there is no solid information out there by this release it's gonna be hard to let it pass on by.

Sentai Filmworks have acquired the cult hit Chihayafuru. The series has remained unlicensed in North America while Siren Visual had the rights. Both seasons have been acquired by Sentai.

Expect Season 1 to be made available in the January 2017 line-up.

I'm talking to Sony - can't say much more there. But I said I'd only do an Ultimate of Bebop if I got either (or both) of:
  • Cowboy Bebop - Soundtracks 1, 2 (No Disc) and 3 (Blue)
  • Cowboy Bebop the Movie
Not shocking anyone - but I have moved from the phase of I'll only do one if to when in 2017 will it happen...

I won't be able to say anymore this year though so completely up to folks what they do (I respect that).

That's fair enough. I guess this is cheap enough that the idea of double dipping isn't all that bad, although having both the collector's of the series and the movie means the price of an Ultimate Edition would have to be right. Anyhoo, thanks for putting it out there anyway.

Does that mean there's no chance of a Collector's Edition of just the movie? I would, ideally, like to pick up an AL release to match the series CEs and I'm not sure I could justify re-buying the series as part of a UE after paying ~£70 for the series already.

However, if you could include the soundtrack on vinyl, ignore that and sign me up for re-buying the series as an Ultimate Edition.

For me, the priority is definitely a Blu-Ray of the movie. Not sure how I feel about the soundtracks and double-dipping for the show - time was I probably would have lapped it up but my circumstances have changed a bit since then.

But yeah, the movie on Blu-Ray - I'd pre-order that Day 1.

Just an added note:

Fairy Tail Part 22 is the last part of the arc before Fairy Tail Zero.

One Piece Season 8 Voyage 5 is the last part of the first half of the series (i.e. the next part is New World).
