MCM London Comic Con - October 2016 News Thread

Personally I'm more interested in announcements of shows that aren't streaming in the UK (or at least on CR, Funi or Viewster). I only really consider Disc releases if that is the only way to see a show. Hoping Anime Limited might announce an older show I want.

Nothing going on right now that Jeremy is aware of.

The Life of Budori Gusuko.

Any more soundtrack releases planned like the Attack on Titan soundtrack?
Not sure if there are any plans for standalone soundtrack releases outside of Ultimate Editions.

Any plans for Space Patrol Luluco?
No news on that.

Any plans for Fairy Tail?
It's coming on DVD, with the next volume coming in November.

Any plans for live-action acquisitions?
None that Jeremy is aware of.

Would Anime Limited want to dub their own anime?
Anime Limited commission dubs, but from the US.

Rei or Asuka?

Andrew said Anthem of the Heart had been rejected by cinemas, but it did get limited theatrical from the Japan Foundation.

As others said a theatrical release won't happen, but the film is currently set for home release sometime in Q1 2017.

Unfortunately, speaking to Andrew it's definitely not happening. It's quite understandably too late for Anthem of the Heart in Cinemas considering it's been available on BD (and thus online) since early this year.
