UK's had a pass to watch for about 2 years now. It's been on crunchyroll since it started, heck it was was one of the first licences of the new crunchyroll
Ah right I meant completely Free to Air as CR's stream is behind a pay wall.

Nope it's one of the 2(USA)/3(UK) shows behind the paywall.
The others being the original Naruto (USA only), Kore wa Zombie and Gosick (which are only there for 4 more days)

While they'd obviously be annoyed...wow. Just...wow. If anything, Manga UK should have had a quiet word with Amazon about it.

Reading the 'review' (too short, terrible grammar, bla bla bla). If the guy hadn't mentioned seeing it dubbed, it would have passed off as a "Watch on Crunchyroll, just don't buy". I do have to agree though; the Naruto anime is rather hit and miss with episode animation, some episodes look fantastic, others look shite.

Who's the monkey that recommended fans download #NarutoShippuden6 c/o the @AmazonUK product listing? I personally want to beat u 2 death.
Death threats really lose their edge when delivered in text speak. Unless of course he just felt like mentioning on an unrelated note that he wants to beat Bono to death, which is forgiveable.

HAAAHAHAAAA OH WOW Manga's gone overboard, it's all those violent shows they licensed over the years

Dodgy as this all is, I can totally see how Twitter causes these arguments. It's the internet equivalent of going into a rough pub and loudly running your mouth off about anything and everything. I hate Twitter with a vehemence.

I don't know what's more annoying, the level of ridiculous melodrama or the fact that it's so bally hard to read it in sequence after the fact. I gather that someone imported the expensive but subbed Japanese version of Redline because they don't care about dubs and therefore didn't care to wait for the delayed dub any longer, and somehow this caused the latest outbreak?

Rather than attacking someone who just spent 4-5x what a normal Manga UK release costs importing it because they didn't want to wait for a dub they weren't interested in listening to, I would prefer for Manga to use the medium to better understand their market. Beez catered for people like this guy by releasing a sub-only speed release of DRRR. Manga flamed him in public. Which of these companies has the most dignified attitude to their own customers?

I get that Manga just see the cash and it not going to them and go nuts, but some of the things said in anger were completely outrageous. I really, really, really wish that they'd separate their official company image and psychotic Twitter raging.

When companies like Funimation are practically working around Manga (Hi there, R2/A enabled DVD/Blu ray of Baka Test, Seto No Hanayome and Birdy The Mighty). It's a wonder Manga isn't on their knees and trying to cater to thier fans needs rather than shoving down half baked drench like Bund and Strike Witches down people's throats in some misguided attempt at making mad cash and probably getting the News of The World's of the...well...world, up on their asses in the process.

At this point Manga are on a downward spiral that, if they're not careful, will take out the industry (such as it is) down with them. And thier Twitter PR is proof and parcel of that.

I'm pretty sure DitVB and Strike Witches will sell 10x what stuff like Seto No Hanayome would here, sadly. Fighting and fan service have always been the two magical ingredients for success.

I don't think they should grovel to us, but they could at least be bally polite.

What are we on about? The dude that was on about dubs sucking?

Yeah, he's an idiot. Sub only releases don't sell well.

And, if he thinks the anime fandom would be better if everyone stuck to subs...

...well, he's just a hipster.
