I don't see how they could've not finished the dub yet. If they haven't then the producers probably are worthy of being dumped. I know some of the extras teased were kinda out there so maybe they won't get fulfilled but refunded instead.

I obviously don't really know but I'd be amazed if Crunchyroll don't release the series in some form at the very least. Like it or not it's a problem they inherited and I'm sure will be keen to solve at least in some form.

I do not think there is any genuine risk that this will not release; albeit maybe with further delays as the backlash CR would receive, for a company of their size, to just abandon a Kickstarter would be immense.

I think there was the suspicion that the remaining Nozomi staff working on this would be let go at the end of this project and the absolute severity of this delay / overrun indicates that they may have been potentially just deliberately dragging their feet.

The existing team leaving as of June doesn't excuse the time it has taken so far. I suspect CR might have just cut them loose and are biting the bullet to just professionally outsource the authoring and any other remaining bits or pieces that need done.

I pledged for the Dagger of Kamui Blu-ray with the chipboard box, and shipping domestically here in the US for that was $8. I see that same set would cost me $32 shipping if I lived in the UK, which is almost as much as what AlltheAnime charges for International shipping to the US - about $34. So I guess $22 intenational shipping for the basic set is not too bad, with today's costs of shipping.

Also, Robert Woodhead is shipping this stuff out himself so the charges are higher as he doesn't get a commercial discount. The shipping on the premium edition is $48.

Update on the dirty pair ks just dropped.
They said they are going to start shipping "what is ready" which I take to mean the merchandise as the blurays are still in production apparently.

I have to imagine with crunchyroll being crunchyroll - the caveat to that will be that they won't be doing that for international backers due to shipping costs

Interesting to know that someone is still working on it. Given what Justin Sevakis said about some Right Stuf producers no longer being with Crunchyroll, I wonder if this project is still with Nozomi staff or if it's been internally reallocated to another part of Crunchyroll.

It's troubling how little clarity we have this long after the buyout about whether Nozomi still exists as a functioning team or if it's been stripped down to a defunct brand name. Basically, I have those phantom Macross box sets on my mind.

Something tangible from the Dirty Pair kickstarter:

As we mentioned in the last update, weā€™ve started shipping out available portions of your Backer Rewards.

And a couple of updates about the Blu-ray production!
Final Materials are in! Production is on our schedule but there is still work to be done. Right now, discs are being mapped for replication and we are doing the final quality checks.
