British anime heroes & heroines

Geh, I can hardly understand that dubbed clip and I was born and bred here (not to mention, I've seen the episode before!).

No love for Seras?

I'm in love with Seras. I mean, I wasn't before that pic got posted, but I am now! ;)

I dunno what show that's from. There's big gaps in my viewing. Do tell, plz!

Seras' dub performance was the tree-trunk that broke the camel's back for me. By the standards she set, the Hetalia performance was somewhat credible.

(On a somewhat contrary note, I dislike tea.)

Mmm I didn't like her either. Sounded too british. Ah well, I do love Jouji Nakata's Alucard so it's not biggy.

Pretty sure L is half British according to Ohba in Death Note 13, or third british. There's SOME british in there =P
I think its fair to say Watari is English, don't you? Probably everyone in the Wammy house is.

Not necessarily. It's likely, but never stated, we only know for a fact Wammy's house was in England, but he assembled child geniuses there to become detectives, he may well have travelled far and wide, not just round England, to find them. I'd say judging by Mello's real name he's not English, but Quillsh is not exactly...well it's not even a name =P So they could be, but it's not necessarily proven.

Excel Saga - Misaki Matsuya is a quarter British.

Toaru Majutsu no Index - One of the characters is an nun from the Church of England.

Bakumatsu had a pretty sizeable English cast.

That would be Index :)

Other characters I can think off are Captain Mardukas from FMP and Eri Sawachika from School Rumble as she is half British/half Japanese

All this talk on Hellsing and nothing about the Mistress herself? Shame on you! (Nonetheless counting Victora Harwood)

Another interesting fact that Yuji Sakai (from Shana) is voiced none other by a bloke from Southampton. Course this dosn't change the fact that he's naturally Japanese.
