Ordered it from Planetaxel. Days before I ordered it said 0-3 days, when I ordered it was in stock so I am hoping it is the newer version (mono problems fixed).

You can't, you have to get replacement disks via the shop if you get a dud one.
Although clued up shops should have checked the batch numbers and returned the faulty ones to Bandai.

The Japanese audio is mono only and is unlikeky to be fixed as Manga got it from Madman. The Bandai R1 release had mono Japanese audio but it was fixed when fans complained.

Star Driver - Episodes 21 & 22

Episode 21 had more than a sniff of Evangelion about it and episode 22 was very good and a quite original narrative on the story.
 
First disc of Soul Eater, currently enjoying it (well, death the kid's obsessiveness over perfection then sulking if his hair in mentioned is getting annoying now, since he was introduced its been brought up in every episode. i hope that stops soon, hell even FMA knew when to tow the line with the edward height jokes)
 
Air the motion picture,loved the series and the movie was pretty special also thanks to the more serious style of directing thanks to Osamu Dezaki,took long enough for me to get round to watching Air but i,m glad i did and the series and movie are now firm faves of mine. :D
 
Up to episode 13 of Durarara. I'm not sure what to make of this show; it's all over the place, but in a good way. I can't say I love it, at least not yet, but what I can say is that Shizuo is awesome.
