Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin - Episode 6 [Final] (Blu-ray)

A decent closer to this prequel OVA series, as a big Gundam fan I'm not overly satisfied with some of the liberties it's taken, but it has had some great parts that I've really enjoyed.

Banana Fish - Episodes 1 - 3

Needed something non-mecha or sci-fi and Banana Fish so certainly lived up to the hype so far.

Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? (Blu-ray)

Another watch of this ahead of recording the review on the podcast.

It gets a bit stodgy as it goes on, but I'd forgotten how exciting the first couple of episodes of Votoms are - it goes about a million miles a minute for the first while.

VOTOMS has the best first episode of any series I've ever seen IMHO, it hooks me in every time I watch it.

Persona 5 the Animation ep 17
New member is fully on board. And a new ED, but as with the new OP the song is good but not as good as the old one. Also still no Haru in the ED although she appears in both OPs!

Yuuna and the Haunted Hotsprings ep 3
I actually liked this episode. We meet some new characters and there's a little bit of a mystery. Also the MC only falls on a girl once!
I see Crunchyroll got their translation wrong with what one of the new characters is. She's not a raccoon, but a Tanuki (Japanese racoon dog). I wonder if she's related to the the Tanuki from Pom Poko as she can also transform, but not that well!

Planet With ep 4
That was a pretty epic battle. Cosmos Matanbi-Z gives you wings! And a massive hangover LOL!

Cells at Work ep 4
The possible downside of eating raw fish.
 
Asobi Asobase -Workshop of fun- episode 4 This continues to be ridiculous but entertaining.

Attack on Titan 3rd Season episode 39 It's interesting seeing the changes made between the manga and the anime, especially as Isayama apparently didn't like this arc very much in hindsight.

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory episode 11 They're really gearing up for the finale, hope it's worth it.

Hanebado! episode 5 Another tense episode, expecting the rest of the series to carry this tone if they continue following the manga.

Planet With episode 4 The darker side of the anime starts to come through and characters appear to switch sides.

We Rent Tsukumogami episode 2 Charming and endearing, I look forward to next week.

Attack on Titan Season 3 episode 2 - I'm liking how different the pacing is for this arc. Also hot take here but the new OP is better than Linked Horizon's OPs for the series (nice to see them in the ED though)

I think you could dedicate an entire artbook just to the sheer number of different costumes Kei and Yuri sport during the series - it seems like nearly every episode so far has given them one unique new outfit each.
 
I can’t remember how it’s differnt from the manga but I know AoT isn’t as flowing as nice as the manga did as it seems to be jumping chapters due to the chapters only following one character

Another tense episode, looks like this will be the tone for the rest of the series. Poor ayano breaking down at the end and having to accept the truth. As for Conny she has instantly made herself the worst girl of the show with her smug attitude.

Bruh, That airport scene was truly heartbreaking. 😭

A dark secret surrounding the Garando family is uncovered.

I don't like the music in this series. It feels out of place being so contemporary if that makes sense.

Hanako is doing a great job helping the girls both one on one and as a collective.

Island ep 5
Just when I thought the plot was getting even more ridiculous, an explanation to the earlier events comes that's actually fairly sensible, although it is also quite shocking.

Hanebado! ep 5
We get a little bit of Connie's backstory, but it doesn't explain why she is such a stuck-up b****!

Review Starlight ep 3
I think I get the jist of what's going on, but with so many characters it's hard to know who doing what with who, etc. Especially as half way through each episode they change into new outfits and start fighting whilst performing. The fights are epic though, but I do wish HiDive would translate the songs!

We Rent Tsukumogami ep 2
Nice use of a certain Japanese folk tale.
 
I'm amazed anybody is still watching Island seeing as it's utter garbage.

On a more positive note the animation in Attack on Titan S3 ep2 was absolutely incredible.

There's a mystery that I want to find out about, but overall its definitely not winning any prizes. I suppose I could just read the Wikipedia entry or something but I'm paying for Crunchyroll so might as well watch it.

In fairness I'm still watching Ragnarock which is just as bad, no idea why I'm tolerating it
 
Back Street Girls episode 4 As ludicrous as ever, but decently entertaining.

Dropkick on my Devil! episode 4 Jashin is one unsavoury snek, but the comedy works based on the suffering she receives (though Medusa should really punish her more often.)

Holmes of Kyoto episode 4 Was a bit disappointed with the outcome of this episode, expected Aoi to stand up for herself as opposed to rolling over and accepting what happened but perhaps this showed that she was the better person in this instance.

Kakuriyo -Bed&Breakfast for Spirits- episode 18 A touching episode on familial bonds with yet another ominous looking cliffhanger.

Phantom in the Twilight episode 4 A rather tense outing this week.

I liked this episode a lot more than the others. It was less of a mystery and more about the characters.

Well I was just about to watch the last episode (13) and the Crunchyroll PS4 app spat its dummy out and didn't want to play. Ah well, was knackered anyway :(
