Handa-kun 1-12
This was fairly amusing, glad it wasn’t longer as I think the setup would have begun to drag.

Fafner 7-10

High school DxD 12

Overlord III (episode 3)
This felt much more like the second season which I liked. I expect some people won't like this episode due to lack of Ains but I really enjoy it when it's like this.
Angolmois: Record of a Mongol Invasion (episode 3)
The art style is still stupid when movement goes on, but it's subtle enough for me to ignore it and they deserve credit for at least trying something new. I'm not sure about the historical accuracy of things but I do like the story and the characters are getting fleshed out a little bit now (or are on the way to it at least). This is another one where if there was something else this season in a similar vein then I would've probably dropped it or maybe put it on hold for a bit, but its a relatively light action piece that you don't really have to think about but I'm sure is surpassed by others in the genre.

Kiki's Delivery Service (sub)
The next Ghiblicast is up.
A tale of a 13 year old witch from the countryside who moves to the city to try and be independent. There are ups and downs as she struggles to fit in, form relationships and find her calling. The pacing is a bit up and down and Kiki's character is a bit annoying sometimes (especially being mean to Tombo after he helps her), but overall an enjoyable film.

Steins;Gate 0 ep 13

Attack on Titan s3 e1
Poor Armin, getting felt up by that guy! Seems the corruption goes all the way to the top. I got some Fullmetal Alchemist vibes, I wouldn't be surprised if the king turned out to be a titan! But some more questions also pop up.

Kakuriyo - Bed and Breakfast for Spirits - ep 17
I bet Aoi will have a hand in obtaining all the treasures needed for the ceremony. She already got one and is working towards another.

Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion ep 3
stupid when movement goes on
Yeah, the blotches stay the same as the shot moves behind it, if the blotches moved too it might give the effect of the camera panning over a paper scroll or something. Possibly what they were going for.
historical accuracy
The dates are right and the head of the clan did in fact die, but most of the cast are fictional I think.
According to Wikipedia and another I found, history lesson incoming: the Mongols occupied Tsushima and then moved onto the next island and eventually ended up suffering the a similar fate to the Spanish Armada and retreated. So from the point after the first battle in the last show it's probably all fiction, although further research might be needed to say that definitively. The Mongols tried again a few years later only to suffer a similar fate, coining the term Kamikaze "divine wind".

Free! Dive to the Future episode 3 Another solid episode, with more Engrish for good measure.

Jormungand: Perfect Order episodes 1-12 (Complete. Another great season, though this time with bigger stakes as the titular Jormunand comes into play and how it affects character relations. The story managed to give side characters depth which made them relatable.

My only issue is that the ending was a bit of an underwhelming one that just left things unresolved and some character actions questionable. Overall confusing ending aside this was a very good series.) 4/5

Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor episodes 1-12

Re: Jormungand, It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I do remember being surprised that Koko's brother wasn't a bigger part of the series endgame. I'd expected a showdown between the two of them, it seemed like there was more backstory there that the series just chose not to explore.

Enjoyed the show a lot though. Maybe less flashy than Black Lagoon, but the story was far more engaging.

Steins;Gate 0 (episode 15)
This one was fun (and the BTTF reference was ace).
Anime-Gataris (episode 1)
First episode, so the tone is set but it's only introduced two of the six main characters yet so see what happens.
Space Battleship Tiramisu (EX2)
These specials are a bit of a let down - I just wanted a bit more after the series.
I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying (1-4)
Very much surprised by this one. Series of shorts at like 3 and half minutes each and really funny. What happens when a normie gets married to an Otaku?

Lupin III: Part 5 ep16

Thus ends the arc. Some clever stuff with Dolma in the finale, but I think this has been my least favourite arc of the series so far.

Still, next week GREEN JACKET.

Save yourselves while you still can. It's not too late for you
Sorry @Neil.T had to see what the fuss was about.

We Without Wings eps 1-3 (dub)
An ecchi comedy adapted from an adult visual novel! OMG, the first episode had so many panty shots! But the next 2 weren't quite as lewd apart a weird segment at the start with full nudity, as it's the uncut version, with varying numbers of the girls from the different segments. The show is split into 3 "stories" with one revolving a bar and its waitresses, one around a school boy who claims is not of this world that hasn't seen much screen time yet and the third around a street punk that seems to have an actual plot including a street brawl between 2 gangs in episode 3.
It has its funny moments, but some of ecchi elements go a bit OTT and there is very little plot. Kanon this is not (also an adaptation of an AVN, but KyoAni stripped out all of the lewd stuff).

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 66 A nice episode with Boruto making amends and forging his own path.

Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor episodes 13-26 (Complete. As tense as it is engaging, Kaiji is quite the ride as it rarely pauses from its series of challenges that the titular MC must face. This season sees Kaiji's rise and fall as he gambles not just for himself but others around him as well. The ending is rather unnerving and the buildup and tension throughout is great, making this a worthwhile watch.

I'll check out the second in the future, though I doubt I'll be continuing the spin off series anytime soon.) 4/5

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works episodes 4-11 - So far (aside from having a talented animation team) this is already so much better than Studio Deen's adaptation. I already like the characters better under this new creative team and there is so much more depth to this world. With this kind of effort it sure would be nice if ufotable gave the Fate route the adaptation it deserves.
