Surprisingly touching Part B. Show is fantastic.

Hinamatsuri episode 9 The anime adaptation of Castaway is cuter than I remembered. Nitta almost faces an untimely end but survives and gets a surprise.

My Sweet Tyrant episode 9 A fun ship is a sailing?

The Disastrous life of Saiki K. episodes 19-24 (Complete. A sublime comedy series that's well worth watching, it's one of the funniest I've seen, with quirky characters and an always creative set of scenarios.) 4/5

Magical Girl Site episode 9, boy the manga really did execute this better in pacing but even so having to watch that again was brutal. I wonder if they'll actually adapt what happens next for Kaname since it's pretty extreme, even for a show like this

Even more appropriate now, given that episodes 8-10 feature robots. But not ones that mock the girls for peeling potatoes with their metal knives, sadly.

Digging the more philosophical tone of these episodes. It's surprised me how well this show is managing to flow between serious and thoughtful and light-hearted and comedic. That's always a very good sign in my book, as I can find shows that get this tonal shift wrong quite grating. I think a lot of that is down to the main characters themselves not being too over the top with their quirks and personalities.
 
Amanchu! Advance episode 9 Looks like this is the end of this fantasy-orientated arc. Can't say I enjoyed it that much, seemed like it should have been OVA material as opposed to taking up a 1/4 of the season. Some of the ideas were neat but it felt so out of place.

Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2nd Season 2nd Cour episode 22 Fox cafes and Shiro's poor ass getting hooked.

My Hero Academia 3rd Season episode 47 Things never resolve that easily...

Persona 5 The Animation episode 9 Ren's personality finally comes through a bit which is nice, and it looks like they showed off some side stuff/confidants like P4 the Animation did with the s.link related episodes.

Persona5 - Episode 9 - So uh, Kawakami is cute af in the anime huh? Still not finding this all that good but I just can't stop watching because it's Persona lol

My Hero Academia - Season 3 Episode 9 - All Might bursting threw the wall was so damn hype lol Also man they made All for One so damn intimidating already, like that after credits scene was great, his theme is also really fitting.

Something has been bothering me about this episode though and I dunno if it's something I should mention because it could be spoilers, or it might already be known and I just didn't realise but basically (don't read this if you're sensitive to spoilers as while it was said in the episode, if you missed it it could be considered a spoiler for later...) during the flashback with Shigaraki as a kid, All for One calls him Tenko Shimura, Shimura was the name of the previous One for All holder right? Was he related to her or what? Like I dunno if that was established at some point and I just missed it but I'm scared to mention it to people when talking about the episode in case I spoil something they didn't notice if you know what I mean? Or maybe it was already known and I missed it back then, or maybe I'm just misunderstanding... I wanna google it and see but feel that would open me up to a world of spoilers.

  • BEATLESS was initially listed as 24 episodes, however four of the slots were replaced with Intermissions i.e. recap episodes which I have watched and now up-to-date on.
  • DOREIKU was initially planned however it's reception has been poor so it's instead been replaced with HINAMATSURI due to popular demand of the series.
  • Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis was initially planned however it turned out to be a sequel series to a previous adaptation with some plot points missing between the two adaptations, therefore it has been dropped.
  • High School DxD HERO had a prologue episode which is how I started the season, the remaining episodes will begin catching up starting tomorrow.

I'm a bit underwhelmed with direction this show has taken in the last few episodes .

10/10. If a show consistently makes you laugh no other rating. All down to the narrator too, at first I was like oh this will get annoying but man complete opposite. When there are a few mins when the narrator didn't pop up I started getting antsy lol.
 
Persona 5 the Animation ep 9
Concentrates on some of the Confidants side stories.
Next week best girl is up: La Prêtresse!

Hinamatsuri ep 9
New girl! Seems like a fun character, her impressions are spot on (and also explains the scene in the OP). Hina makes trouble for Nitta again, but makes up for it in her own special way. Cake made out of salt, yum!
I translated her t-shirt, fun in-joke: Kashira = Head 😉

SAOA: GGO ep 8
Squad Jam 2 starts and there's some smart tactics from the girls.

Uma Masume: Pretty Derby ep 11
Another great episode. Suzuka makes her come back and a new rival turns up in time to face Spe-chan in the Japan Cup.

Caligula ep 9
A couple of revelations. I get the overall plot, but what's happening moment to moment is a bit confusing at times, probably better to binge watch, or play the game.

Mahou Shoujo Site ep 9
Ayas brother is bats*** crazy, but I guess we knew that already. He goes beyond what he's done before in this episode though. Also a mysterious person shows up.
 
Food Wars! The Third Plate 2nd Cour episode 21 Some backstory on Joichiro and co during their time at the academy.

Uma Musume! Pretty Derby episode 11 Suzuka finally shows off her recovery skills and another Smug declaration is wiped out.

The Seven Deadly Sins episodes 19-24 (Complete. A fun and at times intriguing fantasy series with some good Lore and a solid cast of characters-most of which either get development via backstory or will see it in the next season and beyond. This is a good starter to a larger ongoing story, now I need to wait for season 2 to be dubbed and put on Netflix.) 4/5
