Nice to see a character that isn't Aoi get some depth.

Although not the best episode, I do love how this perfectly highlights Shichika's character arc.
 
31 Days of Halloween Day 16: Saw V (2008, David Hackl) The weakest of the Saw films but not terrible by any means.

A Certain Magical Index II episodes 8-16
Two solid arcs but I'm getting a little tired of the "guy misunderstood for being a pervert" and "guy gets constantly beaten up and abused by others" cliches being used for humour here. It's one of my anime peeves, and is seldom done well with a few exceptions.

Beyond the Boundary episodes 1+2 (rewatch)
I started rewatching this ahead of Manga's release of the pair of films, and unlike last time I'm finding myself rather enjoying it. So I went ahead and bought the movies CE for the hell of it.

I also paid my annual visit to SCOTLAND LOVES ANIME.

The Ancient Magus Bride - Episode 2 - Not a lot going on in this episode, well, until the end of it anyway but still enjoyed it a lot. Have to say though I find the series has yet to hit anywhere near the levels of the OVAs for me, here's hoping that about to change.
 
31 Days of Halloween Day 17: Saw VI (2009, Kevin Greutert) The strongest of the Saw sequels imo.

Talk about a spoilerific episode title, try and avoid reading it, if you can!
Back story followed by the death of said character, as with episode 1 & 2. If that continues it going to be very predictable who dies each time

Another solid 10/10 episode. This shows now been given a placeholder in my Top 10 Slice of Life shows... you get one clue what position

Answer: Its been put to No.1 on the grounds of enjoyment over the first 3 episodes, this could of-course change as its still quite early on but if you're going to ask me to describe a perfect series (Not only Slice of Life... Anime Series in general) then Konohana Kitan would be

Birdy the mighty Decode 2 - Very good series with some likable characters. I really hope this doesn't become a forgotten series, it's very different that whats on offer these days
