Buried under a mountain of work, but somewhere along the way I churned out this page. Aiming to conclude this installment in about 3 or 4 more pages (it's about time) I don't know when that'll be though. :(
 
Thanks a bunch Voddas, will do :) Glad it's making you smile since frankly I thought it was getting a little overly grim. Seems like I'm setting up Cyber Dog as a fairly unpleasant character here.

Will conclude things soon.
 
Page 25: Perhaps my best page so far from a visual standpoint. Felt like I'd been lazy with the details on the last few so I made an extra effort here on the backgrounds and finer touches. I'm happy with the layout and arrangement in particular. Hope you like it :)

Amazing art and the story is not too bad either ;)
Just wish you got them out faster, but I realize you've got more important things to do as well, but keep them coming, dude!

As for the rate of release, yeah I'm sorry about that. I'm pretty frustrated about the snail pace of the story too - but with my current work predicament it's the best I can manage. I can make a page in a day or two, but finding the time is tough.

At Christmas I'll make an effort over the break to accelerate my output. Anyhow, the chapters nearly finished - finally
 
Page 26: I've been slightly overworked lately, so forgive the delay.

This page finally concludes this installment/chapter :). It's a slightly sudden conclusion, and frankly the chapter had hardly any plot to it (I guess it's sort of a prologue) - one thing I am pleased about is the general improvement in drawing and shading, even if the story is sub par at the moment. Anyhow, hope you like it folks.
 
Very impressive Wildcard. I have been reading from time to time but as I knew you were near the end I thought I'd wait and look at it as a whole.

As a prologue it works very well, giving you an idea of what kind of guy Cyber Dog is, a little hint of his past to draw readers in and leaving the reveal of his partner (master?) 'til the very end was a nice touch. Your art has a very unique style which has developed a lot even over these 26 pages. Keep it up! :thumb:

Thanks Ayase, thats great to hear :D I have a hard time judging the quality of my own work, so I couldn't tell how well the first chapter turned out.

Here's the cover for the second installment, as ever colour is hit and miss (too bright?) but it's better than the last chapter's I'd say:
 
Chapter 2, Page 1: Feels like a promising start to the chapter for me. On the last one I really started off on the wrong foot thanks to some poor planning and rushed drawings. Hopefully things will work out better this time.

Well, I can dream.. If I ever did I reckon I'd have to fix a fair bit due to my early 'trial and error' drawings.

A bit of tension here. Sorry if the layouts slightly confusing, it didn't work out as I'd planned unfortunately.

well, I'm pretty sure that if you managed to get a good number of pages and keep the storytelling interesting, you have a good chance =)
 
Maybe I'll send something to 2000 AD someday, dunno. It's still fairly amateur really, but as you say: if I get enough together it may be worth considering.

OMG! I'm away from this thread for a couple of weeks and there's like 5 more pages! Loving the artwork Wild. I'll have to set "CYBER DOG" to reading at Volume 1 on MyAnimeList! lol

But honestly, it's looking great mate. :thumb:
