I had to meet friends in a pub in Holborn this evening. Fortunately, I was able to avoid being dealt an unfavourable blow to my pocket: I just ordered a ginger beer. ('Twas Fentimans at that- the last word in ginger beer.)

Something a bit different, browsing Art Deco statuettes on eBay. I happened across a picture of a figure I particularly liked and was trying to find one - at least I know what it is now, 'La Comete' by Maurice Guiraud Riviere. Guide price at auction? Forty to fifty thousand dollars. Oh well, at least my taste is still reassuringly expensive. There are a couple of £20 reproductions available, but they're resin. They could at least have used aluminium or something...
 
Just finished the main body of my caster gun,so now it's just some detailing and paint to go and that's easily accomplishable before expo.Deffinatley the hardest prop I've had to build yet!^_^;
 
Contemplating the nature of irony....

I was in Brent Cross earlier today and there was this really pretty skirt and I kept thinking: Code Geass or skirt? Code Geass or skirt? I think you guys know what I picked...

But considering I wrote that 'manga or clothes?' post a while back, I kept feeling that irony had come back to haunt me.

Dear readers, you have been warned...
 
I do not buy clothes untill my current ones are all rags.

Anyway, currently enjoying a nice monday at the office. Looking at a huge pile of work, admiring it.

Tough it out, ya damn pansy! :twisted: The Expo may be yearly, but you're not going to be there all the time, are ya? Dont let the chance slip. (By all means, if you're litterally almost dying from fevers and such, take it easy, but not because of a bloody sneeze! Take some tissues with ya!) :p

Dreading tomorrow, as I've got 15mins to leave one workplace, have a quick dinner and change into my other work clothes.... Wednesdays used to suck... now it's a gauntlet.
 
Fed up to the back teeth of this damned flat. Since i got here, i've had nothing but bad luck. Its irritating. I can't concentrate on my coursework properly anymore because i keep worrying about when the next payment is due and why the hell my loan/bursary has yet to come through =/ I will rip SAAS a new one if they don't get anything to me by friday.

Asides from that, i'm studying for my vector analysis mid-term tomorrow, which hopefully will prove to be more manageable than not.
 
@Jayme - hope you are feeling much better, kiddo!

Just got back from the hairdressers with manga hair. Hurrah!

I look like Hal Kurabayashi from Switch, but with longer hair and more purple. The fringe flops over one eye, damn impossible to see where I'm going....
