i dread to think why someone would need a battle helmet

What are you building mono? if i see alphonse elric walking about i'll know who to look for now :p

I was thinking it was a sports helmet, like they wear in olympic boxing or some rugby players...

Uploading another pic onto DA.

@mononoke - Belated birthday wishes to you!

I could really do with another bookcase, but there's no room to put it!

What am i doing. Trying to figure out how to make my iPod work again. It's died again. Maybe calling it Kino was a mistake, perhaps it should have been called Jiji... 7 lives to go...

Have you tried holding down the middle button and menu at the same time for a few seconds? That usually sorts out a frozen iPod.

@ Maltos - Thanks for that, it did the trick.

Currently addicted to Korean pop after watching a new drama on the web. Adding more vids to my iPod.
Korean pop? Korean dramas?

Then you might like to know that Crunchy roll has announced a big deal with the main Asian Film distributor in the US. Not sure how this will work for us though, but it would be nice to see more stuff like the great films korea have been producing lately.

@chaos - I haven't been on CR in ages, I watch my drama's elsewhere. But I do worry about the region thing, that 'this is not your region' message always pops up.

I'm not liking how the internet is being carved up.

Restricted licences, legal red tape, the usual quagmire.
People are optimistic about it, saying that streaming is still in its infancy, but it seems that many media companies are happy to retain their 20th century business strategies.

Then they'll be done for because people will just continue to steal their products instead, and the numbers of people doing so will grow. I think the ease with which the internet has facilitated piracy is a wake up call that not only regional economies, but laws as well are a thing of the past. You can't protect regional markets if there's one big, free black market accessible to everyone at the click of a button.

Welcome to the 21st Century, Capitalism. Evolve or die.

Having a look at political group's pledges etc. for getting ready to vote.
Hey, a polititian is a polititian, but I want to at least have a group in charge that'll make things better in my own view.

Heading out to vote with little knowledge of the candidates and even less enthusiasm.

::sigh::

Isn't democracy great?
