Fullmetal Alchemist: The Ties That Bind - Chapter 4

Interesting chapter.

Explains how Luon got hold of Kip and Ed/Al trying to stop him while fighting.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Ties That Bind - Chapter 5 and Epilogue

Satisfying ending, but it's like any other shonen series (it's a happy ending).

Otomen 18 - A cute end to a series I've been following since I was 17. I thought the amnesia plotline was totally unnecessary but the wedding was super cute. Recommended.

Millennium Snow 3 - It's interesting to see how different in tone and how much better the artwork is in the 3rd volume compared to the first two. You can really tell Hatori matured as a storyteller and artist over the 10 years and Ouran Host Club between them. Whilst it's pretty much inevitable that Toya and Chiyuki will stay together for a thousand years, it's still one of the better vampire romances out there. I like how Toya doesn't want to be with anyone, because being immortal means they'll inevitably die before him.

Kimi ni Todoke 19 - Although this series moves at about the speed of dripping molasses, it's still enjoyable. This volume deals a lot with the characters having to decide what they want to do after they finish high school, and the inevitable possibility of them having to move away and split up. Karuho Shiina is a very good writer though, and you can really feel Sadako's struggle.

Higurashi: When They Cry - Curse Killing Arc Volume 2 (Chronologically Volume 6)

Read this in one go last night. This was intense. Strange to see that this one won't have those White Answer volumes.

I've fallen behind with my Higurashi, only read the 1st 10 (all all the black question arcs), but I have seen both Anime seasons.

It's not 100% an Answer to Curse Killing but I'd pair it up with the Massacre arc, but by then some secrets to the bigger plot are being revealed.

Reading wise

Triage X Vol 6 - nice to see some non fodder enemies being thrown into the mix, the bigger plot is clearly starting to happen

High School DxD Vol 1 - Not much different from the Anime thus far, but an enjoyable read and looking forward to more

Olympos- beautiful art, but not a read if you want a good solid storyline. I'd say it's more about thoughts and concepts, it's kinda intriguing in a way. It took me a good while to get into it, but when I did I found myself enjoying it. But it's certainly not for everyone.
Devils and Realist Volume 1
Now back to the Sword Art Online novel!

That one of the first manga I reviewed for MyM. I remember not being too keen on it.

Today read Happy Marriage?! Vol. 4-6.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Light Novel) - Chapters Prologue, 1 & 2

Just cracks me up every time Suzumiya just tells someone to 'Shut up'. And poor Miss Asahina, she needs a hero.

UPDATE (21/06 18:21) - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Light Novel) - Chapter 3

"I'll save them for my private viewing pleasure" O Kyon.
