What Games Are You Playing?

Beat boss number 2 in Bloodborne today :D
I got him to half health, and he fell of the house and was stuck there and wouldn't move, so I threw the molotovs I had at him and finished him off with some bullets

Finished Hyperdevotion Noire. Chapter 8 and 9 were intense. Didn't think I'd see the end of it! Only got the 'good' ending because the grind required for the true ending isn't worth it imo. I'm glad I'm not fussed by trophies because the amount of time you need to spend grinding lily ranks seems ridiculous!

Final Fantasy x HD for Vita comes next week but think I should finally make a start on Ys Celceta.

Ys: Memories of Celceta

Fantastic fun. A great overworld to explore, fast paced and frantic combat and an intriguing story to boot. Reminds me of Zelda (combat, dungeons etc) and Xenoblade (sprawling overworld, sense of exploration) at times.

360 - Started Resident Evil: Revelations 2 (on disc!). The lag when loading is terrible, but when it settles down the gameplay is pretty decent overall, but nothing particularly surprising so far. I'm on the fourth episode, and will later be replaying the whole game to get achievements, then doing the dlc which is included on the disc.

PS3 - Still going on Valkyria Chronicles. I'm doing pretty well and am enjoying it but I only play one mission at a time so it's taking a long time to get through the game.

PS3 - Also still going on F2P game Ace Combat Infinity, but the playerbase seems to be shrinking now so I have to wonder how much life is left in it. I got ten out of fourteen idolm@ster planes throughout March, and am just grinding fuel, research and credits until the next event which catches my interest.

3DS - Also just started Fire Emblem Awakening, but not had much time to get into it what with everything else I'm playing now. I'm only on the third chapter and have already seen the 'game over' screen twice  I'm sure I'll get better at it when I have some time to invest in it.

Funnily enough just finished this one myself yesterday.

However as I am a sucker i will be commencing platinum grind forthwith.

It was a solid game, although the difficulty spikes were a bit stupid. easy ____ super hard ___ medium ___Easy ____ super hard... no rhyme or reason to it...

I've been playing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD...I've not been enjoying it at all so far, but I'm giving it more time before I totally give up.

I loved the synthesis in Atelier Iris for the PS2 so thought I'd go and try out the Atelier games (Arland Trilogy) for the PS3.

I've played through Atelier Rorona Plus and thought it was good despite a lack of story. So now just completed Atelier Totori, which was better in some respects (story) but lacks the refinements (searching through container) which Rorona Plus borrowed from Atelier Meruru. I also notice the upping in Moe factor but I guess it can't be helped with these sorts of games.

Onto the last game in the trilogy; Atelier Meruru!

I also have Dark Souls II for the PS4. Died horribly many times and think it's not my cup of tea. I will restart and give it one last chance.

Bloodborne - Got hit with the elevator bug so can't reach one of the bosses (it's an optional boss but I wanna kill it before moving on), so that's on hold til they fix that.

Mortal Kombat X - I'm really bad at this...I'm a big fighting game fan, I play most of them when they come out but for some reason I just can't get to grips with MKX online. The netcode is all over the place and things I can easily pull off offline just seem impossible online (even simple stuff), but I shall push on regardless as it IS fun.

Heroes of the Storm - It is what it is really, after over 1000 hours of Dota 2 it's kinda nice to have a easy less stressful moba to dip into, and being able to play all those Starcraft characters I love is pretty sweet. (If anyone wants a key to try it let me know, I have 3 left)

DB Xenoverse (PS4) - Completed all but one of the Parallel Quests (Damn it, Kid Trunks!! Damn it, Son family!), and got all the Story+DLC arcs completed up to now. I have a "Frost-Daemon" or Freiza's race character that's lvl 83, and a human female character at lvl 23. It helps with free time, and it's quick to up-an-go with each game. So need to get more techniques though - Fair number of super moves, but not so much on the ultimates.

Also when I can use my bro's steam library, Pillars of Eternity. Just starting off really, as a Moon-Godlike Warrior Monk. Yeah... I look awesome, and I can knock your teeth in with my fists! Lvl 3... Yeah...

Picked up the PS4 re-release of Devil May Cry - the 60fps rate is pretty juicy in some of the cutscenes, although the graphics can't really compare to the likes of AC Unity and so on that were developed particularly for the PS4. It definitely plays a lot easier than some of the classic DMCs - and I like how the combat system is even more fluid now.

Dark Souls 2 (PS3)

Despite it being inferior to first Dark Souls in most aspect and even though it can be really annoying at times it's still a pretty addicting game. Been playing it almost too much during the past week.
