Heading back home for the Easter break tomorrow so I figured I should discuss what games I've been playing over the past week or so (in alphabetical order):
During my own time:
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (PS3) - Got past Level 12, took a while but I've now unlocked Act 4.
Hyperdimension Neptunia (PS3) - Since I now own mk2 and Victory I've set a goal to get this game completed (with a Platinum hopefully) before April. I've got over 50% of the Histoire Enthusiast completed which is great news, in addition to picking up the Lastation and Lowee Key Fragments. Compa is so fun to listen to during the cutscenes "I choose you Compiffytune!".
Titan Attacks (PS3 and Vita) - Decided to randomly play this game on my Vita and I figured I'll continue it on my PS3 since it's cross play after all. The game is actually pretty fun and the Trophies are really easy to get but the main problem is that it feels like vaporware and doesn't have enough replayability besides trying to get the highest score. If you like Space Invaders you'll love this game.
During my society's games night:
Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax (PS3) - Haven't played the game in a while and I got thrashed by my mates, haha.
And in addition these gems appeared at games night (I've also added screenshots in case one of you gets a 'Oh it's that game' moment):
Battle Arena Toshinden 2 (PS1) - It's like having a girl who then does some mind bending gravity moves while also acting like a magical girl jumping in the air it's just like wut? Being serious now, the game is pretty fun and we only played it for a short amount due to the time left.
Bushido Blade (PS1) - Now this, this is one interesting fighting game. If you get hit once you're dead, same goes for any other player (similar to Heaven and Hell mode on Devil May Cry). We played a lot of this and we all loved it, it's one fun game and it's even available on the Japanese PSN store so I'm tempted.
Evil Zone (PS1) - A fighting game that includes Super Saiyan style power charges and the only way to fight is to press Triangle. Also the art style reminds me a lot of Tenchi Muyo!
Soul Blade (PS1) - The game that later received a sequel called Soul Calibur. We all played on Team Battle mode where we select 5 characters and fight one on one. There were moments where I got KO'd instantly and at times where I decided it was a brilliant idea to jump straight into the outside zone LOL.
