What Games Are You Playing?

Started Dark Souls, but don't think I'll carry on since the lack of the ability to pause is something I really don't need.

Not BF3, yet, even though it seems like everyone else is. ;_;

Speak for yourself. I have NO intention of buying BF3 anytime at any price (I'm not a big fan of 1st person shooters for the record).

*brofist* I like FPSs but I'm not really big on military shooters. They're just so... ordinary. They're fun by all means and I enjoy the odd skirmish with mates, but I prefer my FPSs a bit more fictional. Why shoot terrorists when you can blow up dinosaurs with an explosive arrow firing bow?

The few FPSs I have played (and enjoyed) were not military ones (Exhumed and Final Doom on the PS1 and Quake III Arena on my brother's Dreamcast).

Started Deus Ex Human Revoloution yesterday. Was gonna be stealthy, then realized it's just too much hassle. So I do some sneaking about, then just resort to the handgun.

Making my way slowly through Okami (Wii) and Halo: Reach.

Got a big pile waiting as well.
Too much to do, too little time.

Tales of the Abyss (3DS) and Zelda:Skyward Sword this month too!

This is the best way to go, I'm convinced. ^_^ Feels like you're getting to play through both ways at the same time, almost.

It feels a little more 'realistic' to me too actually. Trying to cause casualties, but then in the fly of the moment having to... It feels less like a 'game' and more instinctive. I'm trying not to reboot at all except when hacking, so my responses are natural.

Obviously on the next playthroughs I'll plan it all out a little bit more, but right now I just wanna enjoy the ride 8)

FLYFF,

i honestly can't remember the last time i played my ps3, maybe i should turn it on to see it still works lol.

Hooked on Flyff, managed to hit Lvl 40 lastnight and create a guild with a friend i've made on there, together we are farming monsters for quest items and money to sell in private shops or to deposit into the guild vault to further increase out guild level.

Phase 2 of the plan - to become the best guild in Saint morning island (where we do alot of our hunting) and then onto Darkon! (the major leagues are in Darkon 2, noobs in flaris and middlepeople saint morning, there is another island above all those islands but its not on this map)
A pains in the ass flying from gardens of rhisis to Darkon 2, takes ages even on the fastest board int he game.

I didn't know whether to make a thread for this or not, as I know myself and maes will likely be swapping stories often, but I've been playing Idolm@ster 2.

Only got up to the end of week 2 so far as I didn't have much time after the install. Yet again in my head/tail tournament Haruka won out so she's my leader. As for partners I chose Takane and Miki. I named my unit, set up my costume and did a dance lesson. Which went...Less then stellar.

I fully expect my first playthrough to be a disaster. Still, I won't reset or anything. What will be, will be and any mistakes I make I shall live with!

Picked up Project Zero II in CEX for £8 so I'll be playing that in between Riddler's Revenge on Arkham. Nightwing is so awesome, even though he doesn't have Batman's insanely useful weapon break move I manage to combo with him a lot more easily.

I wish more games would have a recap option like Pokemon Leaf Green/ Fire Red do though. After a long time without playing I completely forget what my objective is, fortunately there was only two ways to go in PZII at the point where I'd saved so I remembered pretty quickly.

Bit of an obvious question, but are you using a translation guide to play or working your way through all the moon runes instead?

Played some Dead Space 2 over halloween, L4D 2 on pc and a bit of dragonquest IX on my DS. Went to see distant worlds last night and feel a bit left out of the Final Fantasy frachise in terms of 6 and X, some amazing scores in those games!

still playing BF3 for now finished the campaign just going multi-player and co-op with a friend,

When not playing that im playing Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception. Im loving every minute of it, hands down so far this is my fav. I love Drake and his younger self is cute XD

Sadly I am having to do a little bit of cross referencing from websites. I did take japanese classes a few years ago and had a pretty basic level of spoken and written down. Unfortunatly whilst I'm still ok when the idols are speaking I, as the producer, don't speak and it's all in kanji. If I could find my notes or a dictionary I could easily pause and still be able to read the text. Failing that I'm considering re-doing my classes, although I already have a packed schedule so it's not much of an option right now.

It would certainly be easy enough to play the game without any understanding but you would miss out on the plot and the individual girls stories.

After the FF:DW concert last night, I'm definately feeling a (perhaps temporary) want to bung FFXIII up my 'to play' list. With Xenoblade on my shelf, Okami half done, and Zelda due this month, as well as Yakuza 4 staring at me, just not sure I'll have time to!
