What Games Are You Playing?

I've just started playing 'Shadow of the Colossus' which i recieved recently and i have to say that after half hour of being confused at first, its been totally awesome.

I'm on a self-impossed semi-ban from gaming ATM. Largely because I'm swamped with coursework (don't ask me why I still visit anime websites :p ).

When I go home for the weekends though, I like to play the odd skirmish on Homeworld 2. To a large extent though, there isn't anything I've got that's interesting to me right now. Any titles I am interested in I generally can't play on the PC we've got.

Well, I guess that's for the best. Still, I'd like to give F.E.A.R., Half-Life 2 and a few other titles a go.

Oh wait, I tell a lie, I just recently got Silent Hill 2 for the PC and started playing that (on the home PC, not at uni). Flaming creepy game so far. Walking around in that heavy fog, and you suddenly hear footsteps behind you. Turn around to look. Nothing there. Keep walking... there they are again. Stop. The footsteps stop.

...

RUN!

Red Dead Revolver, and Battlefield 1942 Anthology (which Amazon has for a ridiculous price if anyone is interested). Old games I know, but entertaining enough. Eat lead, Nazis...

Oh yeah, I've made the foolish mistake of restarting FFVIII. And making my characters strong enough to pwn the XATM082 thing, and everything else on the first, second and third discs without leveling up. I love the junction system.

That game is so addictive! It should come with a health warning: may seriously damage your social life.

I had another bash at Thief the other day (a bit of old skool lol). Brilliant game, never finished it. Got too scared I think

I'm thinking about going out and getting that The Movies thing coz it just looks quite entertaining. Can anybody recommend it?

Thief is a brilliant game. Even now there's nothing quite like that setting. What's best about it is that it doesn't patronise the player. It's mature in tone and style, the script and dialogue is well done, and it allows you to approach situations as you see fit.

I really want to play Thief 3 some time.

i got bored and when looking though my games i come across broken sword 3 and relised that i had not finshed it yet, so i just started it again.

After completing Kingdom Hearts, my friend lent me another game...
Project Zero2 Crimson Butterfiles
And I'm kinda too scared to play it...cause he said it scared him ****less! I dunno if anyone else here has played it and can tell me that it is not scary and that he is just exaggerateing.

I actually think Project Zero 1 is the more scary one: there is alot less health items and no obvious cut scenes when something 'scary' comes out of nowhere.
But yes PZ2 is a scary game, it makes Resident Evil seem like a cheap thrill! It's a good game to play with the lights off!

hahaha, i agree, but personally i think silent hill is scarier than the both of them - a brilliant series.

anyway - i'm just playing through the last of trauma center on the ds (brilliant game btw) then i can spend all my time on sonic rush and mario kart ds!

Just picked up Timesplitters Future Perfect. Absolutely loving it. Even more humour than TS2. The story is a lot more linear, since you play Cortez all the way through (Corporal Hart is dead, sniff, but you can still unlock and play her through the Challenge mode) with a variety of sidekicks in the various eras you travel to.
Some of the characters seem to have fallen by the wayside (no Elijah Jones although his descendant, Mordecai, is unlockable, and Jake Fenton is nowhere to be found) but there are still 150 characters to unlock so I've been spending pretty much all day playing it ;)

And no Wild West level, dammit, although that music is still available for Arcade matches. Sweeeeeet.
